What's everyones expectations for Black Coffee's set today?

I see that it'll only be Black Coffee playing the entire set from 3pm-11pm. I'm unsure what time to go since it'll be a long day with that many hours standing.
Are you guys planning on being there from beginning to end or does it start slow and pick up throughout the later afternoon?
I've never been to any of his shows so im not sure what to expect.

'Create Station' vs 'Start Genius'?

I have been using 'Create Station' when I want Apple Music to recommend similar music to what I'm listening to but I just noticed that 'Genius Suggestions' are a thing now too.

Now I know Genius has been around for many many years but I'm trying to understand what the point is or what the different is between one and the other.

I don't recall seeing the two options recently together so not sure if its a new update or maybe I've just missed this option in the past.
Can someone explain?

How to price for first Destination Wedding inquiry?

I'm looking to understand how to price this sort of event and things I should consider to ensure I do things correctly...

The couple emailed me asking if I am available for a popular date in 2027 for their wedding in Mexico at an all inclusive resort. The original email simply asked I was willing to travel for the wedding with the wedding week being 7 days long and the actual wedding being middle of the week.

I have never done a destination wedding so I asked for more details like If they want only the wedding day photography or any other events during the week. They replied saying for now it would be only the wedding day itself but were considering possibly having me there also for rehearsal dinner.
They also let me know it is a smaller celebration with about 30 guests so at this point I wouldn't consider having an assistant/second photographer.

We have set up a zoom call to discuss all the details but at this point I have no idea how I would price my services consider there are lots more other costs to keep in mind. Plus a wider time frame from arrival to departure.

From my understanding, the couple would typically cover the round trip flights, resort accommodations, airport transportation, meals while on location, baggage fees, travel insurance, and of course the photography service itself. (Hopefully I'm not missing anything else major)

But what I have to consider is the days that I would be away from home traveling where I could be picking up other work closer to home, or editing days which I wouldn't be able to get to. How do I go about pricing a destination package? Im assuming it would also depend what day I fly in but to be safe im assuming I would arrive at least two days before right?

Other thoughts that are going through my mind, do couples usually book flights and accommodations or would I do that myself and bill them for it? At what point would they do this? Also is it better to build a package that includes all these costs, or do I just charge them for everything but the flight and accommodations?
Sorry for the long text but this is really exciting and I really want this to work out :).

Z6 just hit 1 Million shutter count

Posted a few weeks ago about my z6i being close to 1 million shutter count and now here we are. And before anyone questions it about being mechanical vs electronic, 95% of it is mechanical and will take around 40k photos per weekend.

I have a z8 and z5ii but prefer to use this to not have the wear and tear on my newer bodies as I need those for more accurate photos during weddings.

In fact, I still prefer the z6 for Astro because of how good the low light performance is for high ISO.

Pretty much will run this thing until it can’t no more.🤩

Edit: the reason it has such high shutter count is because I have photographed everything from Astro, to portraits, to weddings, to sports. It was purchased new in 2018
A few years ago I started photographing dance competitions and a weekend im averaging 40 thousand photos. It’s over 4 days events, between 700-800 dances in total and each dance on average has about 60 photos.
Over time you train your eye to capture the correct moment so no this isn’t spray and pray.

I currently have a 2017 MacBook Pro with these specs, 2.9 GHz Intel i7, 630 1536 MB Intel Graphics, 16GB Ram. I bought this back in early 2018 and it did me good for photo and video editing up until last year where now it doesn't even let me open any adobe application because it says the system is too old. It has become just an internet browsing computer with zero professional apps usage.

I also have a base M2 Max Mac Studio with 32GB ram that I use as a home set up and I'm hoping this last me a long time but I need something that is more portable.

I was looking to upgrade now to the 16" MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip and up the ram to the 64GB one. My question is, and I know no one will know for sure, but is it safe to say that I will get another 7/8ish years (or more) out of this new machine before I end up having to replace it again? Im not one to keep replacing tech on a yearly basis as I can't afford this so I would rather up the specs now and know I will have something that will last me for longer.

My main applications would be for wedding photography/videography and using applications like Lightroom Classic with galleries ranging from 3000-4000 photos per weekend, and Premiere Pro working with 4k timelines. I also do some web development which might incorporate minor 3d rendering.

Edit: Would a 48GB M5 pro be fine as well ? Or when would I require that extra jump from 48 to 64?

I have been running my business for about a year using google ads and I just received an email from 'name@xwf.google.com' asking me to book a call with them to review things like "Campaign planning best practices, Existing budget allocation and bidding strategy, Campaign performance and optimization".

Their email went something like: "I’m happy to inform you that Google has identified you as a high potential growth partner. As a result, you have been chosen to receive Google's enhanced strategic support.

My name is .. and I am your new Google Account Strategist. "

He said he just wants to schedule a 15-20 minute call to review all this. Are these emails legit and trustworthy? His email signature says (WNS), on behalf of Google. Account Strategist?
Should I go ahead and book this call?
