Help! Meta Title & Description Change Plummeted my Google Rankings

I've had my business for 15 years. Built my website in Shopify back when everything was so much simpler. My Meta Titles and Descriptions were always autofilled by Shopify taken from the text on the pages. My main product keywords always ranked pretty high in Google, so Ive never changed anything.

In comes the "Sidekick Pulse AI recommendations" we all get in our back office and I kept getting a message telling me I should update all of my meta titles and descriptions for better SEO. I looked at my pages and product and realized I never filled them in correctly and that they were just being autofilled so I figured I must need to change them and maybe it would help my SEO even more. I also thought it might also help with more agentic sales, too.

So, I went in and deleted every title and description and worked with Gemini on creating proper titles and descriptions with the correct character length. Took an entire day to finish.

What do you think happened? My 15 years of high rankings suddenly plummeted and my organic traffic and sales literally STOPPED within a week.

MY QUESTION TO ANY SEO EXPERTS..... What do I do now? Do I erase everything and go back to the default autofilled titles and descriptions? AI keeps giving me conflicting advice on how to fix it. Im literally CRUSHED over this. My 15 year business literally just erased in Google in a matter of days.

Who can I contact for help? What steps do I need to take to get everything back to the way it was? Is that even possible?

Orders from ChatGPT

I've been seeing more and more orders come through directly from ChatGPT and I have to admit, I couldn't be happier. I just wish there was a way to see what people typed in to get the referral. I may contact some of my customers that I feel comfortable with and ask what they typed in because the suspense is killing me! 🤣 Anyone else feeling the same????

FedEx strikes again

I was supposed to receive my shipment last week. Driver marked it as delivered, signed for by someone who does not work here. There is nowhere else it could be delivered. We are a private medical practice. I went online to FedEx and filed a missing package report. I then called the shipper, who credited the first shipment, and reissued another. The item is still not here today, so I look on FedEx tracking service online to see it, AGAIN, marked and delivered 6/26, signed for by someone who does not work here! So I am effectively OUT of this critical need item. FedEx sent a reply on the first box, saying "Unfortunately we have not located your item...".

The only way they (MAYBE!) come to their senses if we start contacting state and federal legislatures/Congress/Representatives to see if they can act upon this atrocious shipper, FedEx!! It is BEYOND ridiculous now!

USPS Shipping Label Issue Update

Spoke to support this morning and this is what they said:

"The underlying issue has been resolved. Our team is now identifying the affected labels and working to correct them as quickly as possible.

You're safe to purchase new USPS labels now, as current purchases are no longer affected. Your previously impacted labels will be fixed shortly and you won't need to do anything on your end.

We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience."

I snuck in a few more shares this morning for fun to see if they would hit. Got em' all! Good luck to everyone tonight!

With the recent rise in SP, are you still adding more shares to your Plug position, or staying put with the shares you have?

Will you continue to add on dips?

Are you averaging up at this point or still averaging down from an old position?

The majority of my shares are under $2.00. This is my core position. I will continue to add more on dips that test support lines.

Do you have a max price point that you absolutely won't buy above?

  1. How long have you been trading or watching $PLUG?

  2. Have you held the stock since the run up to $75 or are you new to $PLUG?

  3. What is your end price with $PLUG that you are waiting to cash out?

  4. Where do you think $PLUG will be by the end of the year?

  5. Me, Ive been actively trading PLUG since 2017.

  6. I rode it all the way up to $75 and did not cash out, but cashed out later at different prices as it fell. I've bought and sold more shares since then. Once it went below $1.00 again, I loaded back up. Currently holding almost 50,000 shares.

  7. End price depends upon many factors for me. I don't have a specific price. It will depend upon the market, politics and timing.

  8. By the end of the year, Id like to see $PLUG somewhere between $6-$8.00, but with huge catalysts, maybe we can reach $8-$10.00.
