A tiny poem I wrote after having sex for the first time in a year as a CSA/SA survivor

My hands in your hair

Your mouth on my neck.

I think that I like it.

Maybe . . .

I forget.

a sketch and a poem on fear and rest

I did this sketch as a practice since I'm working on developing drawing skills. It's of a single key from an old keyboard. Then I wrote a little poem about it. I'm always surprised by what comes out when I sit down to create.

DID, CPTSD, Ankylosing Spondylitis, etc. Really working to heal and grow but damn am I just tired and afraid all the time.

Poor little Greggy is a little chilly! He loves being wrapped in a blanket like this on cooler days.

It's giving grandma. And also baby.

Full name: Gregor

Have been friends with my neighborhood crows for a year and half and finally got my first gift! They left it on my patio for me to find 🥹.

Purple is my favorite color too :). They must know I like rocks because I am always picking them up at the beach and use them for decorating on both my patio and windowsills, which my crow friends see often.

Have been feeding them out on my daily walks and on my patio for over a year and we greet each other at least twice a day on average. I feed them my dog's kibble or treats and have a water dish for them on my patio they use often. It's so sweet because it's right next to my window, and they make sure I see them whenever they stop by either by making just a little noise or peering at my through the window until I notice them looking.

Crow friends are the best! So excited about my little treasure.

When the demons look scary but are just trying to help. Internal landscape. CW: nudity

Have had a stressful week:
- had two friend breaks ups
- was physical with someone for the first time in months
- caught a cold
- started doing volunteer educational advocacy work
- am in an arthritis flair
- had a prednisone withdrawal
- am in the process of being diagnosed with polyfragmented DID.

I experienced regular CSA/inc*st throughout my childhood and adolescence. Only really "remembered" last year and have been on a crazy journey since. Turning 35 this year and feeling like a little baby just learning how to exist.

Happy to answer questions about the piece and what specific details mean if folks are curious.

When our apartment gets a bit chilly for Greggy's preferences he loves a blanket to curl up under.

Sometimes I turn up the heat for him, but he also has a sweater he wears during the cooler months, which he loves.

This video of him tucking in just melts my heart. Such a perfect little baby! He's a year and two months now!
