Empire Tw Appreciation post

Honestly, I played this game when I was like 10 and had no clue what I was doing, as I grew older other total wars came out and I never gave this game the time of day.

But now, coming back to it, the depth of some of the mechanics kind of blows my mind. Not only do I have a new found Appreciation of this game, but I also lament the things we lost in newer titles.

Yeah it's not perfect, but the vision was amazing and it's just so fun building an economy and fighting battles.

How should I play the game?

Hey guys, I haven't played this game for like 10 years but I've really been feeling that historical gunpowder itch. My question is, should I play vanilla or is the best way to experience the game to its fullest by playing it with a mod like PUA or Darthmod?

For a little extra context, I probably get like 2-3 hours a week to play games at this stage of my life (thanks uni, work and kids), so I might not be able to play lots of campaigns. Cheers

Guys, what are we doing here.

I appreciate the idea that the party needs funding and donations, but did not one think that in this current environment, to be seen as "begging" for donations a second time is just a fumble?

Looking at picking up a dual cab to use for my new mowing business. Originally going to get a single cab but we have 2 daughters so thought it would be good to have a backup in cases our other car was for some reason unavailable. I've done a lot of reading and have landed on the idea that a mid teens ranger or bt50 will give me the best bang for buck.

The attached photo is kinda what I think I'm looking for but I guess I'm making this post about this car specifically, but also to see if I have the right idea or if there is something else I should be looking for. Cheers
