Canada's Bill C-22 and Privacy

So with Canada's Bill C-22 which requires tech companies to provide a backdoor of citizens' digital activity and metadata for a period of a year, I'm wondering what Tuta plans on doing, as this means encrypted emails will no longer be private.

Is There Performance Gains on Android 16

If you're wondering about if there's performance gains on Android 16, well there's very slight improvement on the CPU side but on the GPU side, there's actually a small decline. I'm running a Motorola Edge+ 2023 with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 740 GPU. Battery performance seems to be near the same as Android 15.

What's Your Dealership's Shop Rate

So I'm looking to get a feel and idea of what might be considered 'normal' for the labor rate different GM dealerships charge for their service department shops in Canada or the USA, so if you could comment your dealership's shop rate along with state/province and country either state GM or particular brand ie Chverolet, Buick, Cadillac, doesn't matter which since they all follow the same GM directives, service bulletins, guidelines and practices.
I'll start; $210 hr GM, AB, Canada. Your input is appreciated and very valuable

Motorola Edge+ 2023 Android 16

Just installed Android 16 on my Motorola Edge+ 2023, mostly this update is about security and less about performance gains or features. I'm thrilled to have it before Android 17, makes my phone feel relevant.

I'm in Canada on the Telus mobility network

Something To Think About Waiting For Pixel 11

Usually there's some reason to be a little excited about the next generation of Pixel phones, but this year there's something else to consider if you're waiting.

Since the demand for flash storage and memory has gone way up, it's been reflected in the price of goods that use them. What this means is that when the next generation Pixel, Pixel 11, comes out, you can anticipate that the price is going to increase at least 25% if not more, Samsung, Motorola and other phone manufacturers have already started, it's already been published that the Samsung Galaxy 27 Ultra will go up 40%, so with this said, might be worth getting a Pixel 10 at current prices, I wouldn't expect good deals on the Pixel 11 when it launches. Just something to consider.

So I'm looking for some feedback from those in North America, Canada in particular, if you managed to get the Edge Signature, probably global model and if you did, what carrier are you using? Some carriers like to blacklist phones because they are not offered by other carriers.
