French curves: How do YOU use them?

While there are several reasons to use a French curve, especially when drafting, I'm interested in how you specifically use them.

Are they standard or specialized to your craft somehow? What makes them different?

Is there anything you love or hate about yours?

I was a swamp creature yesterday

The humidity brought out lots of mushrooms, but I've never needed a shower so bad in my life 🫠 Squats galore

Yesterday's variety in GA, US. Much sweat went into these 🫠🌡️

So many colors! So much humidity! I practically swam the trail. At least I remembered bug spray this time.

Tennessee mushrooms: Do you think 5/6 is stemonitis splendens?

Not flairing as an ID request since I don't have all the requested info for one. Just sharing my photos and casually wondering your opinion.

I really enjoyed the teeth on the first one, as I'd never seen a hedgehog mushroom before.

Happy hunting today if you're lucky enough to go! 🌞

I've got more I can photograph, if you guys like these 🐸

I hope you get to go to the woods this weekend!

Crepuscular fungi finds

Do we like 1 or 9 better?

All taken in September 2023 in N. GA & S. TN, US.

Crepuscular fungi finds

Can't decide if I like 1 or 9 most. 1/5/6/7/9/15 are some of the coolest amanitas I've found, and they haven't popped back up since I took these photos in September 2023 in N. GA+S. TN, US. 15 used a flashlight shining through a water bottle 🍄
