Is this really a flash sale price?

I just received notification from Celebrity that a “flash sale” was going on for drink packages.

I booked the 8 night A, B, C cruise out of Miami on the Beyond. They are quoting a price of $98.99 per person, per night for the premium drink packages.

The cruise is October 23 to 31, 2027 (not 2026) and that price seems awfully high (as I have another cruise booked and paid for on the Summit in November and I am paying about $20 a day less on that cruise).

Is it way too early to pay for a 2027 cruise? I just worry with the economy the way it is the prices will only go higher.

Thoughts, anyone ?

Too far in advance?

I am booked on the Celebrity Beyond leaving out of Miami for the ABCs on October 23, 2027.

I’ve paid the cruise off and decided to go ahead and purchase the premium drink package. The customer service rep put me on hold and came back on the line to tell me that his supervisor said the cruise was “too far out” (I suppose, too far away), and that he could not sell me one.

I guess I am a fault for not reading all the rules for celebrity but I thought they would want my money. Maybe they anticipate a spike in alcohol prices.

Thoughts folks? I suppose there is something clearly printed and I just overlooked it. I was surprised the customer service rep didn’t know right from the start.

Really disappointed

Wait? Weren’t they supposed to have sex? Like REAL sex. They were supposed to moving into adulthood, and it seemed like they stayed in high school. I thought this was a more adult ending to the story. Instead we were back in high school.

SO VERY disappointed.

I see all of these apartments wanting $2300 to $2500 for a one bedroom apartment? Are any of them really worth it?

Why were my gratuities not included ?

I happened to notice that a cruise I booked on my last Celebrity cruise is not charging me gratuities, as is normally the case when I book via the phone or web site.

I went to that “Future Cruises” area, booked a cruise and after looking at the paperwork it is telling me the $266 in gratuities is paid. It was green print, checked off by the woman who sold me the cruise.

I have already paid the cruise in full. Does anyone know why they are not charging me?

Is there a charge for Blu cocktails if I have the p. Drink Package….

Since I have never dined in Blu I was looking at the menu (sorry my second question today about Aqua class).

I noticed there was a $15 charge for some of the Blue Cocktails. Are they not included in the Premium Drink Package? Didn’t know if I was going to have to pay extra for the cocktails they mentioned…

Thermal Suite/Persian Gardens

I am in Aqua Class for the First Time on the Summit in November of this year. I noticed that for $115 I could rent a 7 day Thermal Gardens pass. Since this is my first time in Aqua Class I wanted to ask fellow cruisers - is this necessary?. Must you pay this additional fee? I just don’t want to forget about it and then find out there is no space left. We are very upset that Kay West was taken off the itinerary and we don’t care for Cozumel, so we would only be off the ship one day - in Bimini.

So is it necessary to pay the $115 per person?. Are there advantages and will I feel like I missed something for not getting the pass?

Thanks so much to fellow posters.

Question

I have never sailed Aqua calls before. I just found out my November 1 cruise has dropped Key West, and I have been to Cozumel about ten times. I will be on the Summit out of Tampa.

Here is my question. Once September 17 comes around can I go ahead and book everything I want ON THE BOAT for the stops in Cozumel and Nassau? I really don’t want to sit through some sales pitch my first few hours so is there a way I can book treatments on those two stops prior to boarding. Sorry is this is a repeat question.

I am still not over the fact they dropped Key West, it was the reason I booked this cruise and managed to get an Aqua Class room.

Any information or suggestions are appreciated.

Change in itinerary

Just got rotten news that my Celebrity Summit cruise out of Tampa on November 1 has had a change in itinerary. Instead of our first stop being in Key West, they changed it to Cozumel. They claim the change was due to berthing availability. Really bummed.

I have lived and worked in Key West. But it has been about ten years since I was last there. One of the reasons I selected this cruise is it was nice to find one out of Tampa that was stopping in Key West, and also offered Aqua Class.

Just got the email, thought I would pass along the news.

New Credit Card

Several months back we were all told (at least those who had the Celebrity credit card) that we would be receiving a new one with better benefits.

I was told June 1, so far, nothing . Anyone receive their new card?

Fuel surcharges…

I have purchased, in full, a seven day cruise on the Summit beginning November 1, 2026. I know none of us can see into the “crystal ball”, but with the price of gas rising, how much notice, if any is Celebrity required to give me should they decide to Implement a fuel surcharge?
