Good day everyone! I've been presenting my research as posters but I haven't gotten a single win. I know it's more on for letting others know, critique, or collaborate on your research, but I long for getting a tangible recognition for my work. Is it more on the content, the delivery, or 50/50? Any tips on how to present? I have another presentation coming up & while it's close to my heart, I'm afraid the results weren't as good as anything significant (microbiology). Tyia!

I'm just in my 1st year for Master's (in the Philippines , we take Master's before a PhD). I wanted to teach in the college level, but I don't remember what I studied during undergraduate anymore! Also, I don't see any (research/teaching) job possibilities in the university I'm currently in. Any advice if I should quit, or persist? I'm hoping to graduate next year, so I'm scared I'll be unemployed with no clear career plan. Hoping for your kind advice. Tyia!

I'm just in my 1st year for Master's & I feel like I'm not competitive enough. I wanted to teach din sana sa college, but I don't remember what I studied during undergraduate anymore! I don't see any job possibilities din in the university I'm currently in. Any advice if I should quit, or persist? While this may be symptoms of "imposter syndrome", I'm pressed by time din kasi, so I need to decide asap. Or please educate me. Tayo po ba ang mag-aapply sa mga lab na aligns with our research interests, or no choice kung saan man maassign?

Currently taking master's. I have no idea ano pinasok kong field, hoping for your kind guidance. Salamat po!

How do you socialise as someone who's not permitted to go out, can't go anywhere w/o parents, introverted ("social battery" dies out quickly). My childhood friends have other circles, those I'm currently with at school also have their own. Idk what to do anymore. Finances are also a problem, as I can't go out even buy coffee! It might seem that I'm under 18 but I'm already in my 20's! How to actually socialize and build friends? If "friendships" aren't for me, what might y'all advise for me to focus on instead? Tyia!

Graduated biology (not microbiology) & currently taking master's in biology. Pansin ko puro Rmicro or micro-related ang hinahanap sa industry. Should I take additional units after graduating to take the Rmicro exam? Not sure what career path to take...
