Can anyone assist me with $75 for BLS certification? I have a new job offer and have to get certified before starting and the last class until Oct is Tuesday and I dont get paid until 9/2.. this job will allow me to quit the one im in due to toxic/hostile work environment at a slightly better pay.
I have a new job offer with a start date of Sept 8th and the only class for BLS near me is for this Tuesday at $75. I dont get paid til 9/2. Can anyone loan me the $75 and I repay on 9/2?
I just got scheduled for an interview at a medical clinic for an RBT position. While I dont hold the certificate currently, this clinic will help with certification. I am trying not to be me and dive head first into learning everything asap but I also want to make a good impression in this interview. Ive been wanting to get out of my current career for over a year and now this opportunity pops up and im excited for a new change.
Any advice on how to make a good impression without currently holding a certificate?
Background: i took 2 allied health classes during high school that taught us patient care, med terms/abbr, and more. My husband and majority of my siblings have ADHD and growing up, my aunt would babysit me and her son has severe autism and I actually got him to play different games when he usually would be socially avoidant. So I have somewhat limited experiences with neurodivergent individuals.
I feel very unsafe at work and its going to cause an emotional breakdown at some point...

I just bought a car 4 days ago, Monday, after my previous car was flooded from the Storm Arthur. Tuesday, my manager must have said something to this coworker about the vehicle because around 20 minutes before I was to come in there were numerous searches about the same model vehicle I bought along with a search about survivor benefits, one asking "help for when your baby dies in [insert state]" and just after that a site search for grief relief for death of a child... it hits me hard bc I just had a baby 5 months ago and throughout my pregnancy (from 16weeks-36weeks) shes tried tripping me three times with witnesses, when I was around 18 weeks she asked if I wanted a kick in the butt bc she was bored, and a lot of other stuff and my manager never did anything..
Now these searches have me concerned bc she doesnt like men (she has stated verbally with witnesses they should cull men) and doesnt like kids (and has verbally stated that if she was pregnant she'd do everything in her power to mess it up like drink, do heavy drugs, etc. Her body her choice and all but shes allergic to dick so pregnancy would be very rare for her). I genuinely want to cry... ive tried all in my power to switch depts with no luck and it seems increasingly hostile... im actively applying to other places.... this has me on edge... I cant report it to the manager bc shes not going to do anything and/or she'll blame me for something....

Thursday morning my husband tried to get me to work and we did not know the depth of the water (because it was dark out and our road doesnt have the best streetlights) was and our car stalled out in it. Thankfully our neighbor was able to tow us out but now our car is not working... ive had to call out two days in a row... unfortunately I work in a casino that doesnt care why we call out, I literally got pointed for calling out when I went into labor and it was a hard fight to get it removed... we've already sold everything we had when I was on leave so I dont have anything to sell or pawn worth it... I could really use $30-$40 to get to work, at minimum to get to the bus stop to get to work... I get paid Tuesday so I will have the money to get to and from then but im broke from buying formula and filling the car up for the week... thank you ❤️
