Avengers Assemble

I just bought Guerrilla 450 exactly a month ago, and before that I used to drive an activa, with an half faced helmet, didn’t know the nitty gritty of helmets, and didn’t have much idea about the safety certifications and stuff. So when I bought my first ever bike, people asked me to buy a new helmet. I have been looking for a helmet which provides good safety and also goes with the aesthetic of my bike. After a lot of research, I finally bought an Axor Captain America helmet. It might not be a very value-for-money purchase, might seem a little extra, but the first time I ever saw this helmet, I knew I had to buy this. Also, I love Captain America [OC].

Cmon do something 👨‍🦯

SOXL, and all the other semiconductor and memory stocks have been going sideways for the past 1 week, SOXL is swinging between the 130-140 range, are we waiting for something big to happen? Are there any catalysts which are coming in the upcoming week? I usually get into SOXL for 2-3 days for swing trading, anything longer than that can be a bit dangerous. It’s been a week and it’s still in the same range. Its like it has forgotten who he really is.

Moment of truth

Probably by the end of this week, we can see the intersection of these two. Time to switch the parties. After losing more than 50% of my portfolio, it’s time to bet on SOXS and try to recover the lost money. What do you guys think of this strategy

Guerrilla heating issues - is it normal?

So I had purchased Guerrilla 450 last week, and have been driving in the city for the past 2 days, mostly in 1-2 gear, as there’s a lot of traffic. My engine gets so hot that you can literally cook stuff in it. I wanted to ask if it is normal in the initial week? Does it change after the first service? Also, I have been getting a mileage of just 17. Anyone facing the same problem? If yes, please share your experience

RAG projects recommendations

I, 25, am a Software Developer with 3 YoE. Now I want to switch to a GenAI consultant/AI engineer role. I have been actively using AI for my day-to-day development tasks and really want to switch into this role, so I have just started preparing for that an planning to switch in the next 3-4 months. I am currently learning RAG, Vector DB, Embeddings, and LangChain. I want to build some projects that can grab recruiters' eyeballs, solve a real problem, not just a generic chatbot. I am not really sure and can't think of what I can build that can improve my skills, and I also want to learn a lot from this project. Need your recommendations. I would be really grateful if you could suggest some good projects and also add thing which I need to learn that can get me more hiring calls.

Yes, I Bought a 450cc as My First Bike. Now Help Me Name It.

I’m a 25-year-old guy, and this is my very first bike. To be honest, I haven’t even learned to ride it properly yet.

I’m fully aware of the criticism that comes with buying a 450cc motorcycle as a first bike. I’ve heard all the usual comments: “You should have started with something smaller,” “A 450cc is too much for a beginner,” and so on. But what’s the point of life if we never make decisions that excite us and give us a little adrenaline rush?

Since I’m completely new to the world of motorcycles and riding, I know very little about helmets, riding gear, accessories, and biker traditions. I recently discovered that many riders have a tradition of naming their first bike, which got me thinking about what I should name mine.

Feel free to roast me, share your own first-bike stories, or pass on any beginner advice. I’d love some suggestions for:

  • Bike names that suit the Guerrilla 450 (Twilight Blue)
  • Good keychains or key accessories
  • Helmet recommendations under ₹5,000
  • Accessories that would complement the bike’s aesthetics

At the moment, I have my eye on the AXOR Captain America helmet. I really like the design, but I’m not sure whether I should be spending that much on a helmet as a beginner.

Honestly, almost everything I know about bikes, riding, maintenance, and accessories has come from this subreddit, so I’d love to hear your recommendations and experiences.

Grrr 🚀

Hold or Sell today?

I think the optimism is starting to fade away. I am not very sure whether I should bear the loss and take an exit or wait for it to grow? What are you guys doing? I am currently holding SOXL, DRAM, and RAM

All I need is a one good day

So SOXL has been tumbling for the past 2 weeks and stuck in the range of 170-200. All we need is one good day, and then one good week to get the momentum going. Today KOSPI index did fairly well, but why the hell are memory stocks down in the premarket? Is there anything that I am missing? Can we hope SOXL to get past 230 by the end of this month? What do you guys think because it has gotten frustrating. This is our SOXL the stock which crashes, recovers in 1-2 days, and then touches ATH and then goes down, and then goes back up.

SOXL down in pre-market?

KOSPI index performed well today. SK Hynix, and Samsung did decently, but why is all the memory and semiconductor down in the premarket? Can we see the trend reversal by the time markets open, or is it going to be Tuesday like crash?

I had a dream this morning!

So after doing all the research and building more positions in RAM and DRAM, I went to sleep last night, at around 5am in the morning, I had a dream, that I woke up, checked the KOSPI markets and what I saw was SK hynix was flying off the roof in the KOSPI markets upon opening, and I went ahead and posted it here, and went back to sleep. When I woke up this morning, the first thing I checked was KOSPI and I was a bit disappointed ngl. PS: I live in India, and in our culture, it’s a saying that 5am dreams always come true. Hope it does in our case today😂

DRAM going UP or DOWN tomorrow?

I was planning to add more positions in DRAM for the long term and in RAM ETFs for swing trading, given SK Hynix's IPO listing tomorrow on NASDAQ. The fundamentals for the memory remain the same; the market sentiment seems bullish. What do you think DRAM will do tomorrow, and what should be our target price for swing trades for RAM? I am new to investing and trading, and this sub has helped me a lot, so I need your honest advice and opinions before markets close today.

Bouncing back, and this time to the moon 🚀

So after many trading sessions its bouncing back again, also SK Hynix is listing tomorrow at the NASDAQ do you think this will act as a catalyst and around 200$ seems like a good position to enter, and it will shoot up tomorrow? So should we go with our gut which tells us that it will touch 300$ by next week?or are we giving up on SOXL?

Thoughts on CURE and LABU

So it looks like semiconductor, memory stocks and ETFs such as MU, SOXL, and others are in a downtrend. I, just like institutional investors, want to rotate my capital towards different sectors particularly for swing trading. Previously I used to swing trade in SOXL, but due to its current scenario I am looking for other high-volatility, high-momentum, leveraged ETFs in which I can take my swing trades. While doing research I came across the healthcare and biotech sectors, which is currently HOT and money is being rotated into those sectors, I picked out 2 ETFs CURE and LABU. I haven’t heard much about it, and I am not much aware of other sectors other than semiconductors and memory stocks. I would love to hear your thoughts on these 2 stocks, and any advice if someone already investing in it.

Is this the end?

Anyone who is planning to get into SOXL when the market gets cool? If yes then I need honest advice on what do you guys think is the future of SOXL. Should I be buying the dip and let my gut feeling win who says its going to hit 300$ in the next 3 weeks, like it always does, or should I accept the reality?

SOXL and SOXS

Waiting for SOXL to drop this week, so that I can enter again. Sold at 252$ today when the markets opened, made a good amount of profits by trading SOXL this month. Great momentum trading stock. I also purchased SOXS today in the dip, what do you think of this rotating strategy between SOXL and SOXS. I am aware of the volatility decay concept, but just wanted to try this strategy to see if it’s a feasible one or not. Do drop in your thoughts in the comments

Booked my first ever bike

Hello r/royalenfield,

I’m a 25-year-old software developer from Mumbai.

The funny thing is, I’m not even a rider yet. In fact, I still don’t know how to ride a bike properly.

About 3–4 months ago, I somehow got fascinated by the world of motorcycles, and it excited me so much that after months of research, I finally booked a Guerrilla 450 in Twilight Blue this week.

I’m 6 feet tall and have spent most of my life riding an Activa. A lot of people told me that a 450cc motorcycle shouldn’t be my first bike, but the moment I saw the Guerrilla 450 in person, I knew I wanted it. Once I started researching it, I went completely down the rabbit hole.

When I began, I didn’t even know basic biking terms like torque, engine braking, rev-matching, and all the other things riders casually talk about. Right now, I’m learning on my friend’s Hunter 350, and not gonna lie, switching from an Activa to a geared motorcycle feels like a pretty big challenge at the moment.

Thankfully, I still have around 2–3 months before delivery, so I have some time to learn and get comfortable before the bike arrives.

As for accessories, I’ve only added the engine guard so far. Are there any other must-have accessories that you think are genuinely worth getting from day one?

I’ve also been told by a few people that the Guerrilla 450 might feel a bit small for my height. Because of that, I’m considering the touring seat upgrade, which costs around ₹5,000 and adds about 22 mm of seat height. For those who have experience with the bike, do you think it’s worth it?

I’d also love to hear your advice on riding, beginner mistakes to avoid, essential gear, and what your experience was like when you first learned to ride a motorcycle.

Have been chasing this for 3 months, and finally got this beauty

https://preview.redd.it/wotn2qdelu9h1.jpg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5e22dd628bcbd0ec576b249f158833932196be2

A quick introduction about me: I'm a 25-year-old software developer from India.

I got into watches about 8 months ago, and I've fallen in love with every part of this hobby. From randomly spotting a beautiful watch on a YouTube video one day, to obsessing over it, spending days researching it on YouTube, reading Reddit reviews, comparing prices, saving up for it, and finally hunting for the best possible deal, it's honestly one of the best feelings in the world.

I've realized that the journey of chasing a watch, researching it, and looking forward to owning it often brings me even more happiness than the moment I actually buy it.

For the past 3 months, I've been chasing this watch, and last week I finally got my hands on this beauty. It's now been a week of wearing it, and I've received compliments from almost everyone at work and even outside of work. More than anything, it gives me confidence in my taste in watches.

My first watch was a blue Casio F91W, which I bought in December 2025. Six months later, I've added another watch to my collection, and the cycle begins again. The plan is to buy another watch about six months from now, which means it's time to get back to researching, saving, and shortlisting options, probably my first automatic watch this time.

This is my first-ever post on this subreddit, and I'd love to hear your suggestions for a great first automatic watch.
