Question About Beef Back Ribs

Everyone says you need to cook beef back ribs low and slow for hours, at 225 to 250 until they reach 195 to 200. Kind of like a brisket.

But the meat is the same exact meat as in a bone-in ribye steak - just a lot less of it. You could call it a bone-in ribeye with a lot of bone and a lot less meat. And no one would cook a bone-in ribeye that way.

Why shouldn't I cook beef back ribs the same as a bone-in ribeye - high heat for several minutes until the meat reaches 130 or so. What am I missing? Thanks!

Anyone Younger Than Me Have 40s Junction as Their Favorite?

I'm 66 years old and listen to 40s Junction far more than any other channel. I figure if that was the music of your "heyday" you'd have to be in your 90s now. I can't explain why, but I love it, even though I grew up on 60s/70s rock (Stones, The Who, Floyd, Allman Brothers, etc.), and didn't start listening to this until I was in my 50s. Anyone younger than me have 40s Junction as your go-to? If so, how old are you?

Is There a Stop, Mute, or Off Button on FireTV App?

Hi. New here. Whenever I "exit" the Sirius App on AppleTV by opening another app (e.g., Disney) to play different content, the Sirius audio just keeps playing right over the other app. The only way I've found to stop this is to go to the settings on FireTV and force the app to stop. That's a real PITA. And even that doesn't work all the time. Sometimes I have had to uninstall the app to get it to stop.

Does the Sirius app on FireTV have a Stop, Mute, or Off Button, and if so how do I access it?

TIA.

Here in DC I haven't seen a single No Kings protest against King Charles.

It's as I always knew. You're not opposed to Kings. You're just opposed to Trump.
