Ghost of Yotei complete edition

Hi, I’m wondering when will the physical versions of Ghost of Yotei complete edition be available for sale in Australia. I’ve been searching everywhere but I can’t find a single copy here in Australia. Thanks

Are Movies/Shows you bought still available after it’s been delisted?

Hi everyone. I’m considering getting an Apple TV to purchase & stream shows that aren’t available on Blu ray. My only concern is after buying certain box sets on the TV store I lose access to them one day. Is that possible or once you purchase it it’s forever on your account? Thanks!

Ratchet & Clank — Finally Finished After All These Years

I recently revisited the original Ratchet & Clank from the PS2 through the PS3 HD Collection, and after all these years, I finally finished it!
This was my very first Ratchet & Clank game. I had a PS2 as a kid, but there was one tiny problem: I didn’t have a memory card. 😂

Seven-year-old me obviously had no idea that I needed one, so every weekend after school I’d sit down and replay the same missions over and over again. I could never actually progress far enough to finish the game. Eventually, I discovered the existence of memory cards… only to lose my Ratchet & Clank disc shortly afterwards. I completely forgot about the series.

Fast forward to this year. I regularly buy PS3 games because the PS3 is my favourite PlayStation system, and while browsing my local game shop, I came across the Ratchet & Clank Collection. I genuinely didn’t even know this collection existed until then.

Long story short, playing this game again was an absolute blast. It was like reconnecting with a piece of my childhood. I’m in my late twenties now, but for a few hours I genuinely felt like that seven-year-old kid playing Ratchet & Clank on the PS2 again.

BUT… man, this game can be frustrating.

The checkpoint system is absolutely ridiculous at times. There were so many situations where I’d travel halfway across a map, use most of my ammunition and spend a good amount of my bolts, only to die and get sent ALL the way back to the ship. And because the ammunition and bolts don’t necessarily reset in a useful way, you’re sometimes going into the next attempt already underprepared.
And don’t even get me started on some of the boss fights. 😂

There were several moments where I was thinking, “Was this actually designed to be fun, or was the intention to deliberately frustrate the player?”
Maybe it’s simply because this is an older game and some of its design conventions haven’t aged particularly well. Either way, there were definitely moments where I went from enjoying myself to thinking:
“Can I just get this over and done with?” 😭

The final boss was the biggest example. That fight took me around 20 attempts. By the end, I wasn’t even angry anymore — I just wanted it DONE. 😂
Despite all of that, though, I still had a great time. There’s something really special about returning to a game you played as a kid and finally accomplishing something you couldn’t accomplish back then.

Overall, I’d say Ratchet & Clank holds up surprisingly well, but its checkpoint and progression design definitely tested my patience.
I haven’t played the other two games in the collection yet, but I absolutely will. (I only played Rift apart because it came with my PS5 with no idea of the story just played for vibes)

For those who’ve played them: do Ratchet & Clank 2 and 3 also have ridiculous checkpoints like this? Or does the series improve in that area? I’d love to hear what you guys think!
And did anyone else have a similar experience with the first game? 😅

Rating: 8/10 — frustrating as hell at times, but incredibly nostalgic and still a blast to play.

Sorry about the long rant, I just finished the game as I’m typing this. I feel so relieved to have beat Drek with 100 bolts left and 1 life remaining….

Finally completed the series, but Drake’s Fortune was a rough start

Hi Guys, hope you are all doing well.

As a huge fan of the Uncharted series, I'm embarrassed to admit I never played the first game until now. Uncharted 2 was my introduction to the series back in 2010, and I've played every other game since (except for Lost Legacy, which I'll get to eventually). Since I had Drake's Fortune sitting in my collection, I decided it was time to go back to where it all began and complete the series properly.

Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The game felt incredibly dated compared to the sequels. What frustrated me most was how I couldn't enjoy the story without being thrown into combat every two seconds. The pacing felt completely off compared to the more narrative driven later entries.

The technical issues were even worse. The input lag was so noticeable - every time I tried to jump off a ledge, there was this delay before Nathan would actually jump. This led to countless deaths and having to restart from the beginning of checkpoints repeatedly. It became genuinely unplayable at times, and I came close to quitting multiple times.

I really pushed through because I was determined to finish the series and finally understand how Nate and Elena first met. I had to actively train my attention span just to get through it. While I'm glad I completed it for story context, I can't honestly recommend this game to newcomers unless they're absolute completionists like me.

The series gets so much better starting with Uncharted 2, so if you're new to Uncharted, I'd honestly say you could skip this first one and not miss much.

Starting Kingdom Hearts series on PS5

Hi guys, I have never played kingdom hearts before. I’ve always seen it around on PS3/PS4 days but never actually played the series and now I’m interested. I have a question. I have a PS5 console and it is available on PS5 (PS4 version) and in 3 months we are getting a new remastered collections. Should I wait for the remastered collection on PS5 and what are the expected differences compared to the current PS4 version?

I’m not a specs nerd but I really want the best possible experience so I can enjoy this series for the first time 🫶🏾
