My son is T1D I was in a dinner and the mom next to me asked me why do I weight the rice that my son is eating so I explain her that my son is T1D blah blah blah and her respond was?! “Did you get a second opinion “?
I honestly couldn’t even respond
I have to admit when my son was diagnosed two years ago the first thing I said but he doesn’t even like sweet I really didn’t know what is T1D but still…

My 9-year-old son recently asked me for a Kindle because he loves reading, and I thought it was a great idea. I bought him the Amazon Kindle 6” e-Reader (2024). He was able to download a few books through the library, but when he tried to download Dog Man, he received a message saying that Kindle doesn’t support that graphic novel and that he would need to read it in the app instead
I downloaded the book on my phone, but he said he doesn’t like reading books on an app. Now I’m thinking about returning the Kindle. Which Kindle would be a better option for him? Would a color Kindle be a good choice?
