I tried it as an experiment and honestly with optimising it myself + using Tiny11 it runs pretty decently. I had to disable defender etc for it to not fry itself with CPU tempts and turning off indexing + animations it is pretty usable. I have otherwise Lubuntu and Arch on it so pretty mixed bag of OSes but this is definitely the most interesting one of them.
Hello everyone, I would like to enter the hobby of photography and cause I never had one I will rather ask here beforehand. Here are “requirements” and info just in case:
(1) Budget, country, and currency:
$80-240 / 5000kč, Czechia, USD/CZK
(2) What equipment, if any, you have now and why is it no longer meeting your needs?
I never had any camera before except old point-n-shoot and I always shot photos with my phone but it feels for me annoying and distracting to have my phone all the time with me and I’d like some decent/proper camera for shooting photos cause I got pretty interested in the hobby lately.
(3) What kinds of subjects do you intend to shoot?
I want to shoot mostly normal life stuff like family trips but also animals and other wildlife.
(4) Is it primarily for photography, videography, or both?
Mostly just Photography, videohraphy does not interest me for now.
Thank you for your help and I will hope I find something for me :)
I upgraded my mac from Sequoia to Tahoe and it on boot always said (this version of macos cannot be booted) so I tried clean reinstall via recovery and it does this now 2nd time in row does anyone know what should I do? - It is M1 Air model A2337.
This is my Thinkpad T60 (specs on image), it runs Salix OS (Slackware) and it runs great on it - 720p youtube runs fine and 1080p with some struggles works. Themed it myself to MacOS theme (as you maybe see I am also a Mac user (tho I have Asahi linux on it) but I like the old macos style looks.
This is my PocketBook Touch HD3 I have since 2019, have managed to install Koreader on it with plugins and today I managed to make a custom lockscreen image thx to this guide reddit.com/r/pocketbook/comments/1qkutiw/custom_sleep_screenlogo_on_any_pocketbook/ - these mods made me love it again pretty much I was thinking about upgrading but not anymore :) - If anyone has suggestions what should I do to it next feel free to comment.
The aperture assembly broke by itself (probably when I put it in my pocket mid shooting) and now because the aperture thing does not work photos are always unusably blown out with white lines over them - for me 2013-2026 till today at 17:50 when it happend :| . - If you have any recommendations how to fix it I'd be glad but it seems to be too far gone now and not worth it.
