In all full honesty, i tend to play almost any game provided that I'm playing with someone else :v

Now am i good in any of these? Not practically, but i sure as hell enjoy playing them :b

As the title said, i have experience in being a player and DMed a oneshot but i want to step it up with a homebrew campaign (i say homebrew but some of its element are taken from a campaign book and got repurposed :p), i already have me girlfriend as a player so now i need 1 to 4 more people to start the game :v

its gonna be from 2 hours to 3 at max, starting from 7PM or 8PM depending on how busy everyone is.

i tend to lean in more toward darker setting and such nothing too gruesome or bleak, just wanted to give a disclaimer!

I'm making a little system to add more spice narrativly and Mechanicly to a campaign i'm making.

now it is still in its early stages but now i need advice and critics to help me refine it and make it more balance!

Wyrd coin

Is a coin that have a quill on one side and a clasped hand on the other.
everyone knows that to use it is to challenge the fate itself and to force an outcome that wasn't meant to be.

If it land on the hand the desired outcome of the person who threw this coin shall happen
But If the coin land on the quill not only the event will happen as it is supposes to be but also the person who threw the Wyrd coin will face a worse fate as punishment for trying to tamper with what the fate have written.

using a Wyrd coin will consume it and there is 2 ways to acquire them:

Natural Wyrd coin:
can be acquired by resting, the amount of coins that one can generate is directly related to their powers the stronger you are the more you can generate after resting. although one will lose said generated coins once the rest.

gratitude Wyrd coin:
these are acquired by making a contract with a person that state after you do them a favor you will get Wyrd coin.
these Wyrd coins are special because they don't disappear after resting but beware whoever give their coins like that will never be able to generate any of the amount that they gave unless it is given to them by the same person that took them.

in practice, the PC can start with the same amount as their level and can use these Wyrd coins to do a verity of things that otherwise shouldn't happen, provided the coin land on the hand.

Battle:
Wyrd coins can be used in 3 ways in battle:

• if the PC is about to die from an attack, they are allowed to roll one Wyrd coin and if they pass, they will survive but with 1 HP, if they fail they will die and immediately fail one death saving
• The PC can flip a coin using their bonus action to initiate a due attack with another person provided that the other person have a coin and accept to throw it, whoever get a hand can attack and if only one got a hand they will only be allowed to attack and if one or both got a quill they will lose their bonus action for the next round.
• The PC can with a bonus action throw a coin and use an ability that is related to its class. if failed the DM will throw a d4 and the PC will get a debuffs based on a list of 4 things (check the list of classes bonus action and debuffs at the end of the page)

Roleplaying:
Wyrd coins can be used to put a 1d4 extra after rolling the dice in checks but if failed the outcome of the check failing will be worse.

Leveling up:
when you level up as a spell caster you are allowed to flip a coin on success you can pick a utility spell that can be casted once per long rest or once per short rest if you deiced to flip another coin and it land on the hand.

(still haven't thought of the other classes :p, any ideas would be appreciated)

List of the classes that i came up with so far:

Druid: they can use their wild shape an extra time

Monk/barbarian/sorcerer/bard: get to use 1 extra point of their respective class, like a monk an extra KI, barbarian a rage, etc

Wizard/Druid replenish 1 spell, the level depends on how many coins they threw, for every hand the spell they use go up by a level but for every quill it goes down by one and if its more quills then hands they one wont be able to use even their cantrip AND get the d4 debuff

Fighter/Paladin/Rogue: i still haven't found a good reward and punishment for them :v

The Depuffs:

1. their speed is halved
2. they lose 1d2 Hp
3. they get -1d4 on their next attack roll
4. the next attack roll on them get a +1d4

i found that i have some free time now a days and wanna find someone to hangout with and game :D

i play on a pc and if you deiced to DM me then you will soon find out that im quit a flexible fellow when it comes to when and which game to play.

BUT i currently dont have much installed in term of multiplayer games so u gotta give me a day in advance to get it downloaded :p

also i'm thinking for getting back to LOL since its been years since the last time i played it, was somewhat good at it if i do say so myself!, so if you want we can do that! and dont worry about toxic stuff never in me life have i got annoyed from me teammates :v
