A friend gave me this and I'm struggling to figure it out

My friend gave me a 3d printer that he wasn't using (which I'm PRETTY sure is the Artillery Sidewinder X1 but not totally sure) and I'm trying to get it to work.

First off, there are loose cables which I have no idea where they connect to (shown in the second and third image). There's also a cable which appears to be broken (shown in the first image) but in the tutorials I've watched, none of the others have this cable so I'm not sure what's going on with that.

Second, the display is not turning on when I turn on the power switch. I'm hoping this doesn't mean it's straight up broken or beyond repair, but I want to try to fix it if possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why does the reference seem to have smoother lighting?

Mine seems to catch a lot more shadow than the reference and I'm wondering what causes that. my geometry is very similar, but the lighting on this one sort of hides the demonic shape of the face lol. How do I get this smoother lighting?
