Head gasket swap: did it in only 1h45m!
My '52 3A was blowing compression from the #4 cylinder into the water galleries and overheating. All things considered: an easy fix

1981 Ford F-75 (Brazilian market) with a 2.3 Lima SOHC, 4 speed manual and Dana 18 Transfer case.
The original engine was badly worn out (bearings got to the bronze layer) and the transmission had bad bearings and seals. Swapped the engine with an identical (known good) one and refurbished the transmission.
Old 2.3 Lima began knocking, so i sourced a good used engine, swapped over the oil pan, and checked how bad the old engine actually was. Now, time to clean the transmission before i open it up for a refresh.
More of a joke post. 1981 2.3 on my truck started knocking. Getting a "new" engine (last picture) was cheaper than a rebuild, but I still took out a main and rod cap to check the old engine. I will rebuild it someday, maybe to SVO specs, but for now, it's getting stored.
I wire-wheeled and hand scraped/sanded what the grinder couldn't reach. Not a fun experience, but the result was worth it!
The Hurricane for this Jeep is actually in the background, in the truck's bed, and should be repainted and installed soon.
Dropped off a few cut tree branches yesterday and had some fun on the "curb", if you could call it that.
Truck is my 1981 Ford F-75 (rebadged Willys Jeep truck) with a 2.3L OHC, 4 speed on the tree, Dana 18 T-case and Dana 44s in both ends. Only things not stock are the bumper, 15" wheels and 31x10.5 MT tires
