Ring group question

I have a handful of clients on the VoIP.ms hosted platform (not just SIP lines).

I have p DID that is directed to a ring group which includes two sub-accounts and forwarding to two cell numbers. All four destinations are supposed to ring at the same time.

Any suggestions what I’m missing?

TIA

Possible legal action against memory care facility. Need recommendations for attorney in Wisconsin.

To make a long story short, my mom was left sitting on a couch in her apartment for 39 hours without one single nurse, aide, or other employee moving her to toilet her or change her. She sat in her own feces and urine for more than a day and a half. Her bottom had open sores and more diaper rash and black and blue from sitting in the same position.

This is not the first time, but the most extreme.

We are considering a lawsuit - not really for money, but to force change and accountability. We have reported to Adult Protective Services already, and working on complaints to state licensing and the county health department.

If someone before us had pursued this more vigorously on behalf of their parent, my mom would not have suffered. A lawsuit, unlike complaints, will get the attention of corporate and force organization and accountability changes.

We’re not looking for a shark attorney, but someone who will take this case to provide financial compensation to the family, but more importantly, to make this a learning lesson for a home and corporation that has been unresponsive to our concerns.

Any suggestions of attorneys that are ethical and would take our call for change seriously?

Download 39 hours of video

I have an older adult family member that is in memory care. We discovered - via the Protect camera in their room - that the staff did not move them off the couch for 39 hours.

This person cannot walk by themself without assistance, and is double incontinent they need a reminder to go to the bathroom, help getting there, and help remembering what to do. Needless to say, sitting in the couch in an adult diaper for 39 hours was a huge mess, surely uncomfortable, and their buttocks are raw and infected.

We are filing a report with Adult Protective Services. They would like the video that shows our family member wasn’t moved for 39 hours.

I can’t realistically submit 39 one-hour clips. How can I get this evidence to APS in as few segments as possible?

Sorry for the gross and stunningly neglectful detail, but it provides the background justification for our need to get all of this video together to submit.

Late stage Alz mom

Mom’a well into stage 6. Showers don’t happen anymore except when absolutely necessary. We’re down to sponge baths, which is reasonably effective and she tolerates them for me.

The question is about her feet. All of her life she had been embarrassed about her toes which are badly misshapen and overlap. There is no way I can wash between her toes with anything without her complaining it hurts (which it would).

I suspect the best plan is to soak her feet, then gently dry them. The question is, what should I put in the water to cut down on foot bacteria? Her feet smell sooo bad.

There’s a lot of Reddit that’s a bit strange or mean. This subreddit is one of the good ones with good people.

Thanks for sharing your insights.
