How stringent are you with blocking buyers?

Just curious as I sometimes feel I’m maybe biased simply due to the experiences I’ve had with buyers.

This week for example I had a buyer offer £470 on an item then retract it and offer £440. Then immediately ask my best price.

I countered a bit higher than their original offer (which was about £80 off). They accepted and paid but of course the following morning asked to cancel.

Now that’s fine, people can change their mind but the reason I would consider blocking someone like that is I have found the buyers most fussy on price and so skittish when buying are often those that ask for discounts or a return later. I just cba to potentially deal with it and had I sent it out I’d biasedly bet they’d have done just that 😅

Anyone else the same? Anyone else the opposite and scarcely block people?

I am not particularly well versed in vintage fashion but big fan of shackets, wool shirts (like Pendleton) etc and recently acquired this stunning Cabourn jacket (which needs a little tailoring to fit). I am pretty short and skinny and like an oversized fit.

However most of what I like/own is heavy. I do have a short sleeve denim shirt but even that is pretty heavy for hot weather and my Pendleton or Woolrich shirts are long sleeve . I think ideally need a solution that’s single layer.

I feel like just a t shirt is a bit boring? Now 31 (M) with a kid and selling vintage watches for a living, I would like something that reflects that - smart but airy and vintage to match the career/passion.

Maybe it’s less about the top and more about the leg wear, which is something I tend to neglect?

I only wear a handful of the few clothes I own so I am open to spending a bit more on designer brands, like Cabourn, that will be staples for years to come.
