I've read a lot of the standard recommendations, I want weirder. I've read shark texts and vellium. While I enjoyed them, what seems to be copied of the house of leaves style it only copied the idea of there being reference material for you to refer to. I just finished "The Gone World" and "There is no Antimemetics Division" and both of them really seemed way more similar to the confusing and anxiety inducing narrative of house of leaves. I'll also say I read toms crossing and it wasn't for me.

I guess what I want are more books that cause anxiety in the way house of leaves, the gone world, and there is no antimemetics division caused me to feel that out of dread in my stomach. Can anyone recommend me any more books? My next read that was recommended to me is "The Troop" and we will see.

I was on a flight and I thought about what would happen if I tied a rope to the end of the plane and rode a skateboard down the runway and then took off with the plane. I thought, obviously I'd get pretty cold. But then I thought, when something falls to earth from space it can get super hot, like when a meteor lights on fire. So I was wondering, is there a speed you can go to start to get hot? If a plane was flying fast enough could I actually feel pretty cozy in terms of temperature? This seems like one of the dumbest questions I have ever asked but I feel like this is an okay to ask that

Just thinking about him makes me sad. I can't believe this dude started as idubbbz (the three b's stand for big booty bitches) and entertained us so much. He became so worried about the fandom he cultivated that he became more toxic than his fandom. His documentary on airsoft fatty was so mean spirited and obviously so. Dude did not give a shit about him except to mock and demean him. He practically lived in the "get a load of this guy cam" the entire time. And the fact that he was able to use the few remnants of his fanbase to start creator clash only to completely burn any good will he had by embezzling. It's like he's allergic to making good choices. He has become the exact "fan" he was trying to distance himself from in terms of behavior. What scum

I talked to gascoignes daughter and she gave me the tonsil stone. I've played the game a lot, I have never gotten the tonsil stone like this. Anyone else had that happen before?

I played a mod pack forever ago called tekkit or technic, the main standouts to the modpack were ee2, thaumcraft, and galacticraft. I tried to play it recently and I can't seem to find it, the version I did find has a really bad group of glitches where the game just flat out doesn't work graphically. Ee2 and thaumcraft are the ones I really want, it was cool watching the taint overcome the land and trying to find the Eldritch areas for research

Logan is a fucking snake. I loved all the characters except Logan and sometimes Jules. The way Logan goes behind people's back to get his way is sick.

Talking to Garretts dad after Thanksgiving was a really uncool move. I don't care how mad he is that he came from no money or that his mom has done 5 stints in rehab. He had no right to go to Garrets dad to get merch. I know garrett was unfocused in hockey and occupied by thoughts of his dad. That doesn't mean Logan can just act like it would be fine to go over his head

If Logan was a real friend he would have seen Garretts struggles regarding his dad and either asked about and backed off or just backed off in general. He doesn't get the excuse that garrett wasn't talking about his trauma cuz you can be respectful of someone's trauma and not have all the facts about it, something we saw several times in the show from Garrett doing that for Hannah when she didn't want to drink at the party or Allie when Allie knew the trauma Hannah suffered but didn't push it.

Logan also going behind deans back, telling davenport that it was deans idea to bring him aboard the team, shows a fundamental lack of respect to his team mates. Again, he doesn't get to make the call that he knows better just for the sake of a team.

Logan lusting after Hannah when Hannah and Garrett first got together is also extremely slimy. Overall, Logan is a scumbag and deserves no grace.

Needing to manage spell slots and limited uses of spells between rests is a drag. I'm sure it will completely trivialize the experience, but I want more rogue trader. Is there a mod that does this? Or settings in toybox I could activate?
