Hiya everyone, i painted my take on this miniature today. A little one afternoon-evening paintjob. I'm quite happy with the result. I hope you like her! Feel free to suggest names for her. I haven't painted her lil dudey friend yet.
I haven't painted many Orks since the mid 90s (2nd edition starter flashbacks of identical gretchin), so i was really excited to get hands on with the ones from Armageddon. I'm having a great time painting them, I'm trying to keep them quite bright and bring a touch of that 90s feeling to the army.

Hi everyone, this week i painted this spellweaver for my Wood Elf collection. Shes a sculpt from Highlands Miniatures. I tried to give the unicorn a magical but muted vibe, contrasting with brighter colours on the spellweaver herself. I did the spell in hot colours to add more contrast against all the blues and greens.

This is my hobby from the weekend! The lovely new captain from Armageddon and a squad of Bladeguard Veterans all in the Deathwing colours. I really enjoyed working on these, I think Yarrick the DW are my favourite models to paint from the unforgiven.
If anyone wants the bone recipe it's actually really simple! I prime Wraithbone (or equivalent, in this case Wight Bone from Colour Forge), then do an all-over shade of Seraphim Sepia. Then I used Ivory from Pro-Acryl (usually use Wraithbone but I ran out) to layer the flat surfaces of the armour.
The greens are the p3 equivalent of Caliban Green, Warboss Green and Moot Green (Blindwater Green, Iosan Green, Necrotite Green)
I made this because I was looking at my Warhammer collection and noticed a Spearhead box and read it wrong. I was inspired. So here's a meme for Reg Wharf and all my warhammer/red dwarf crossover nerds
Heyyy! My partner bought me this kit at Xmas and I've been meaning to paint it for a while, so I decided to make it my weekend project. I really enjoyed working on it! The scenic base really makes it stand out and I used Nurgle's Rot on the poison to give it a nasty shine!
