Spending on Longevity

Many people seek longevity.

Companies want a pill or injection. Millions of dollars are spent on these. There is good money in coming up with products that promise some life extension or increased health.

To some extent, people also want to have pills or injections because humans are naturally a bit lazy and those are easy compared to actually working out and eating whole food.

The science is clear - eat well, exercise, sleep well, have friends are the best ways to health. I worry that these simple things are being glossed over in favour of products people can get paid for. Economics drive research, marketing and spending in general.

Any solutions or ideas?
