What streaming device to buy for Q990F and BluRay remux?

I have a q990f and LG G5. Looking to buy a streaming box and wondering what would be the best option specifically for watching BluRay remux with lossless Dolby Atmos and DTS. I’ve heard the AppleTV can’t do lossless unless it’s with specific streaming apps like Netflix and Disney, however I’ll only be using BluRay Remux so I think the Apple tv wouldn’t work for me.

Any suggestions?

Advice on how to fix “no signal” on startup?

https://youtu.be/8lbJyTPoaBA?si=yZmrMGRGj71xDaDr

I have an LG g5 connected to an ONN 4k and q990f soundbar.

Whenever I press the power button once on the ONN remote to turn on the tv, it correctly starts up to the ONN 4k home page, then a few seconds later it switches to a no signal screen, then back to ONN home page. As seen in the video I linked. I believe I have everything correctly connected: ONN 4k > connected to Q990F > Q990F connected to LG G5 via HDMI arc. About 20% of the time it’ll even stay on the no signal screen and I have to manually change input back to ONN. But most times it is exactly as shown in the video I linked.

Any advice on how to fix this?

What device can I use to simulate millions of mouse clicks?

I’ve had my original G Pro Wireless since 2018 and it’s finally starting to die. I have another original GPW sealed in box that I had stored in my closet for a replacement. Tried it out today but the clicks are significantly heavier since it’s new. It’s going to take years of actual gameplay to break in to what my old GPW was like. It was perfect, the lightest clicks ever. I’d barely touch it and it would click. Wish it was like this out of the box.

Any suggestions on a device or method I can use to simulate millions of mouse clicks so I can break in my GPW switches faster?

Should I buy Pivot 14 or Strive 14?

Hi, my local ski store has Pivot 14 ($160 USD) and Strive 14 ($199 USD) on sale.

Is the Strive 14 worth the $40 extra? I ski about 60-70 days per year, all mountain skiing in Utah. I would be mounting them on my Armada ARV skis that I just bought.

Why do HNW individuals invest in so many complex investments if it’s as easy as VTI and chill?

I work at a commercial bank and I am responsible for reviewing personal financial statements and balance sheets for individuals.

A pattern I notice with people in the $10-25 million net worth range is they all have complex investments in various private funds, also lots of real estate ownership and REIT funds . Very little percentage of their net worth is actually in 401k/IRA/VOO/VTI/public equity. They’ll have maybe a few hundred thousand in retirement which is very little compared to their total net worth.

If it’s as easy as investing in VTI like Bogleheads do, then why do these high net worth go through the trouble and fees of investing in these funds and alternative assets? I’ve actually never seen a HNW individual with a traditional boglehead fund allocation in the 5 years I’ve worked here. A logical conclusion would be that Boglehead isn’t the pathway to high net worth wealth.

ANC briefly turns off when using voice activation

I just bought my Px8 S2. When I am using my iPhone 17 Pro, any time I use a service that activates the microphone, such as talking to Siri or answering/calling a phone call, the ANC turns off for a second and then turns back on. Then when the microphone is deactivated after I complete my action, such as hanging up the phone or completing my Siri command, it does the exact same thing; ANC turns off then back on for a second.

I just want to know if this is normal behavior for these headphones or if I should return/warranty them. It is a bit annoying especially for the price point.

Does anyone else experience this with their px8 s2?
