I have been selected for SE and CS in the 1st merit list of ITU. Everyone recommended me FAST (lahore campus) but in nuces test, my aggregate is 67.4% 😭 so i don't know if I'll get selected there. Also, my first preference was SE, then CS, CY, AI , and at last DS. About half an hour ago, I submitted my UET LHR application and the preferences order was same . BTW, my aggregate is 83.4%. I didn't get the permission to go to NUST, PIEAS and GIKI. Now I only have the option of FAST LHR, UET, ITU, PUCIT and COMSATS LHR. So, 😭 can anyone tell me whether I will get selected in any program at FAST? Is there a guarantee? Also, should I submit the admission fee at ITU as the last date is 16th July (only to secure a seat). 🙏 help. Should I go to PU (is it more good than uet,itu, and comsats in SE?)

Assalamualaikum. I have 1133/1200 marks in Matric and 521/570 marks in my FSc Part 1 (Pre-Engineering). Could you please guide me on how many marks I need to secure on the FAST NU entry test to confirm my admission for Software Engineering in Lahore?

Hey everyone,I need some serious, realistic advice from seniors and industry professionals regarding university and field selection in Lahore.My Background:1130/1200 in Matric, 521/570 in FSc Part 1(Pre-Engineering background, studied Biology in 10th).My target Campuses are FAST,UET,PU,ITU and COMSATS (Lahore campuses only).My ultimate lifelong focus is to work remotely for international clients, freelancing, and earning in foreign currency.I want to build a career where I am not tied down to a local 9-to-5 corporate office.I plan to move abroad for my Master’s degree after graduating.I am fortunate enough that I don't urgently need a fully-funded scholarship as my family can self fund my education and expenses abroad.I know FAST is brutal but has an insane reputation.ITU is modern, UET has the legacy brand name for visas, and COMSATS is great for GPA.Which university’s brand name,GPA flexibility and alumni network will help me the most to achieve high remote income and secure smooth admissions abroad?(I will not do plain CS at any cost).I am leaning heavily toward Software Engineering because it feels like the ultimate building block for freelancing.However ,given the hype, is Artificial Intelligence or Cyber Security worth considering if my main goal is remote freelancing? I am worried CY might restrict me to local on-site corporate/banking jobs because of trust issues with remote clients.Would love to get your insights on which university + field combination aligns best with my goals?
