I'm new to Pokémon TCG and the only other card game I've played is Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel. I was interested to play when I watched Farfa reacting to JenTCG playing Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, and she said that PTCGL is not only completely F2P but also gives you free meta viable decks. I was tired of grinding gems for MD so I tried PTCGL.

My Deck Choice: First I tried Mega Charizard Ex since it's the first deck that popped up when I booted the game. Then after a couple of games I tried N's Zoroark since I like N and think Zoroark is cool, then I realized I have no idea how this deck works so I went back to Mega Charizard Ex. Then when I was playing I got badly beat up Mega Lucario Ex so I decided to try it, and it instantly clicked for me and started winning game after game and having so much fun. When I got to mid-to-upper Great Rank I looked for a way to improve the deck and found OmniPoke's video on Mega Lucario Ex.

My Expectations vs Reality: I thought PTCG will be slow, whenever other card game players including Pokemon players on how fast YGO is, so I was surprised when the game was decently fast, maybe it's because I play Mega Lucario Ex but it felt fast to me.

So do you guys have any decks I should try? In Yu-Gi-Oh played Tenpai, Live Twin, Spright, Runick any deck similar to those? (I guess Tenpai and Mega Lucario are kinda similar)
