It's been over a week since I got the email, yet it has been nothing but 🦗🦗🦗.... What gives?!

One thing that I have noticed, after unfortunately taking 600-1500mg (down to about 800-1000mg a day now FML) everyday for the past year (which apparently is pretty heavy compared to most that I've read about), is that I have never had any overdose or really any terrible side effects from 7oh compared to extract shots. Curious to hear other people's experiences. Is anyone on 2500mg or more per day?

Prior to the 7oh craze (how long has it been on the market? I remember seeing it for the first time last summer in Texas) I was a daily / few times a week Hush extract user -- 2-3 shots a day.

Sometimes I would get a strong one or maybe a different brand or my metabolism, but if so, I would get extremely nauseous, throw up, wobbly eyes, can't stand up for, and other bad side effects / clear overdose -- effects lasted about 20-30min before it subsided.

3 shots was always a gamble and I quickly realized that 2 was the sweet spot for me. And I could go 3-5 days of not using, without any withdrawals, just an urge to get more, but nothing like the hell of waking up without a 7oh pill.

But yeah, what's up with that? I have never had any overdose symptoms from 7oh, and currently think that it's possible that I could go much higher with a daily dose and not have any. Is that because the 7oh is more 'pure' and the extracts were all gunked up with plant stuff or the other mitragynine gunk that's in there?

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

My background story:

I discovered Kratom in December 2020 two months into a year long alcohol free goal I was working on. After several years of sober Januarys, I wanted to see if I could go a full year. I quickly settled into a 1-2 shot daily/every other day habit, which, while expensive, did wonders keeping me sober from alcohol. Due to the sobriety and some other things going on in my career, 2021-2022 was the best year of my life. Built a couple classic German cars, met a beautiful woman who eventually moved in with me, great job, things were going very well.

My great run ended due to a legal situation that ended me up on probation (DUI for marijuana after fast food worker called on me in the drive thru with 0 alcohol in my system -- DICK), but at least I could get through it with my expensive but seemingly no bad side effect (except for the rare wobbly eye OD) habit of Kratom shots throughout the week. $40 every few days, manageable. But in the back of my mind I wanted to kick it, as the fun effects were hardly noticeable and it felt like such a waste and ineffective/inefficient drug (I've done em all)

Anyway, fast forward to last summer, and these 7oh pills come out. I at first thought they were just a different version of the extracts, like some other extra powder pills I had seen. After I tried it for the first time, I was blown away. Instead of feeling like I took 1 20mg oxxcodon like it did when I first started taking the shots, it felt like 60mg. I was even getting a very decent nod going, very euphoric.

Well, we all know how that ends up. It quickly ramped from 200mg every 3 days, to 600mg or more in just a few months. $80-120 a day!! Then around month 4 I had my first taste of being without, and experience full on withdrawals, insane RLS restless legs, can't sleep, shakes, it was bad. That's when I realized this was a whole nother animal. My life in that year took a nosedive, lost job, filed bankruptcy, about to lose my girl after 4 years, still unemployed after 18 months, sold 1 classic car to stay afloat (and avoid withdrawals) but about to be broke again. I am currently trying to taper, even though I have a sub prescription, because I don't want to trade one addiction for another. Trying to get help from the VA (former Army tanker) but their knowledge on 7oh is limited (although catching up). Anyway, that's my story, wish me luck, it's going to be an absolute bitch getting through the next few days/weeks/months but I am running out of time, money, and sanity with this weak ass drug.
