Where is the Bluetooth module on my b7 Passat?

I was under the impression it's in the back of the armrest, but as you can see, nothing there.

It's also not under either of the front seats as some have said.

Any help would be appreciated 🙂

Edit for clarity:

I removed the original head unit and replaced it with an RCD 330. I also forgot the VW AUTO BT on my phone but somehow it still keeps reconnecting, and I think it's the reason I'm having issues with the new head unit.

1 hour dailies?

I'll maybe get pelters for this but do we need 1 hour daily podcasts?

At a time where there is an incredible amount of media to consume, I think I would appreciate a snappier daily pod. Sure, for England games and the knockouts, a longer record would be fine, but do we really need an hour on 2 group games? Even the Guardian are only doing 40 minutes.

In reflection, and after Luke's comments this week about struggling financially, I wonder if so they can squeeze as much ad revenue as they can, which I don't blame them for.

Daytime running light keeps blowing

As the title says, my nearside daytime driving bulb keeps blowing, I've replaced it 3 times this year already.

Can anyone suggest a reason why this would keep happening?

Help with firmware

Hi team, I hope somebody can help with firmware issues I've been having with my Noname 187B in my Passat b7. (I'm using Android auto)

When I bought the unit from ddren last year it had firmware 5614 installed. But I found I was having problems with people calling me hearing an echo of their own voice.

I spoke to ddren who recommended trying a couple of older firmware versions, 5532 and 5536. I have tried them, the caller echo seems to have cleared up (for the most part, it still happens occasionally) but I find that they are sooooo buggy. I have to reset the unit daily, it's always freezing, black screen, can't hear voice calls etc etc.

Can anyone tell me if there is a firmware version that fixes the call echo issue?

I noticed that my phone is still connecting automatically to the 'VW radio' BT module in the car, even if I forget it on my phone. Would this have anything to do with the call echo? I vaguely remember reading something about that on here.

Any help would be very greatly appreciated.
