Ive played the original since launch and always come back to this game. I prefer it over Skyrim most of the time. I was playing last night and was wondering what is the draw and appeal of this game? Is it Nostalgia? is it modern games going too far away from standard western RPG formulas? Is it the lovable Bethesda jank? There are many RPGs that arguably do things better but this game is still preferred for me.

Tell me your stories and reasons this game keeps you coming back.

I keep hearing conflicting stories saying that in docked the stuttering is more severe than straight handheld mode. Any Switch 2 owners here care to share their experiences?

I played the original game at launch. But curious on how it would run and play on my phone or tablet. How good are the touch controls? And most importantly how many gigs does the game and expansion combined take up? I want to play a campaign with a faction that was not playable in the regular campaign.

What improvements does this version have?

I see it is on sale and I loved the GBA battle-network series as a kid and as an adult now. My only hang up is looking at the limited trailers the combat looks like it is dumbed down and strategy is less

Ive played several of the human factions being slow and meticulous with defensive growth with settlements and building up overtime and only moving on when things are defensively sound.

Chaos it seems like you can just take the big fortresses and raise everything else to the ground. If I play this way will it hurt me later with the chaos currency? Playing as Archaon by the way. Should I play like everyone else and max occupy and vassal settlements.
