Hello, since gas prices are so high and i wanna do some long trips next year, i'm thinking of selling my hornet 600 and get a cb500x/nx500. The thing is i'm 171cm and i'm not sure how well i'll flat foot the bike. For those with the same height, how do you manage the bike?
After some long trips and about 8k km done this year with my hornet 600 i realised it isn't made for how i ride. I'm thinking of changing it with the 450MT, i ride mostly on street, no offroad or gravel. I know the power is way less but for the roads i use it on, no highways and the speed limits in my country i'll be fine. I plan on doing long trips with side luggages, commuting to work and short twisty roads on weekends. Since i won't be doing offroad, is it suited for only street or i'm missing out on it? If i get one maybe i'll put some michelins anakee adventure on it and try some light offroad, but that's uncertain. I'm also thinking of an nc750x but the cfmoto price is too good.
I wanna change the class and get a touring bike. The problem is i'm only 171cm and most of the ones i have in list are pretty tall. Let that aside, i have a honda hornet gen 3 right now and i'm interested to change it with: Versys 650, Vstrom 650dl, Nc750X. I'm more inclined to NC750X because of the fuel economy and reliability.. but the lack of power is a turn off for me. The Versys pretty much checks the boxes but it's pretty tall, same thing with the Vstrom. I do mostly street riding but i wanna start on gravel too. As far as i read, these three are good for gravel but still. What do you suggest?
Hello guys, just finished 1k km trip on my hornet and i realised isn't suited for such long trips also i can't strap many things on it, so i wanna change the class and get an adventure bike. The problem is i'm short, 171cm and for every level difference on the bike, i'm a victim. What bike can you recommend? Something tu suit my height. I was thinking of an Vstrom 650 and lower it a little or an NC750X and use some 70% road 30% offroad tires. I really don't know. Any suggestions and ideas are welcomed.
So, i'd like to buy a Tenere 700 but use it 100% on the street, short trips/long trips/commuting. Put some street tires on it and calling a day. I know it's an offroad oriented bike that's why i'm asking if it'd be comfortable for permanent street riding? Has anyone done this before? Or i should go for the Tracer?
