We are aware of ongoing attempts to falsely associate this Reddit account and subreddit with a Twitter/X account and individual that we have no connection to.

These claims appear to be part of an attempt to defame, harass, and potentially self-doxx members of the moderation team, while encouraging outside users to brigade this community.

To be clear—
•This Reddit account is not the Twitter/X account being circulated.

•Harassment, targeted accusations, doxxing, self-doxxing attempts, and brigading will not be tolerated.

The objective of this subreddit has always been to document and discuss double standards and gatekeeping within a particular segment of the fandom, not to target individuals based on their identity. We are also hardly the only people documenting these kinds of situations or discussing gatekeeping within gacha communities. Similar record-keeping and criticism exists across other gacha spaces.

Previously there have been similar attempts to defame or doxx moderators of communities such as AetherMains. This is a very common tactic of the terminally online and the unemployed group.

We will not allow an attempt to manufacture an association between unrelated accounts to be used as justification for harassment or a brigade.
Please do not engage with or amplify these claims. If you encounter attempts to spread personal information, identify moderators, or organize outside users against the subreddit, report them rather than engaging.

We are documenting the activity and will take appropriate action where necessary, including reporting serious cases to Reddit.
Criticism of the subreddit is one thing. Fabricating identities, encouraging harassment, and attempting to expose individuals is another.

Made this sub just over a month ago and Im pleased to see how far we've come since then!

I'm so glad someone proposed the idea of a separate sub where people could discuss their favorite gacha games and the issues surrounding them. And I'm grateful to all those who joined and feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts and opinions via posts or comments.

How far the gaming industry has fallen, there isn't much I can say atp, this has been discussed hundreds of times already. Western companies refuse to design an attractive female character just out of spite or some other misguided ideals, first it were the movies and now its video games.

Their reach has been spreading towards eastern companies as well, and I fear soon we wont even have those games remaining free from their propaganda.

They do the same sh!t in every gacha game and in every community. This a gaming space, not your political activism playground.

They simply can't enjoy the games for what they are
