What’s a Survivor move and/or vote out that had absolutely no business being as successful as it was against all odds????

What’s a Survivor move and/or vote out that had absolutely no business being as successful as it was against all odds????

Scot’s blindside here fits the bill perfectly because the trio of Scot, Jason, & Tai had a safety net with the super idol, which could be played right after the votes are read, and had their plan been successful, Aubry goes home and Julia flips to their side at the Final 7, which results in the trio likely dominating the endgame. However, with Aubry convincing Tai to flip to her alliance(consisting of herself, Cydney, & Joe), Scot & Jason’s plan gets completely foiled as the vote went from a 3-3-2 tied vote to a 4-2-2 plurality vote(with Tai voting for Scot) with Tai refusing to use the super idol, sending Scot home.

What are some moments in Disventure Camp that results in you having the same reaction as these people here?????

I feel like Yul’s vote out in All-Stars definitely fits the bill here to me, even as the person who doesn’t hate Yul nowadays

Based on the way that Jared has been following the 26 episode format for this season, it seems likely that there will be a double elimination episode(or even a special episode dedicated to the people who are stuck on Rescue Island) and only one person returning to the game

With there being 15 episodes left and 14 contestants left, this seems like the likely outcome since if two people do in fact return to the game, the show would have to do two double boot episodes. And it seems pretty obvious that the Rescue Island twist is inspired by the Edge Of Extinction twist on Survivor, meaning that the comeback challenge likely occurs before the merge even starts. So assuming that only one person returns, who’d you think is the likely candidate to return to the game??? Im placing my bets on Benji

EDIT: Actually forget what I said about the special rescue island episode, cause it would have the same problems as having two players returning back to the game(since it would also force Jared to have two double boot episodes since they still have to make room for the motel episode & for the final 3 & final 2 episodes to be separate)

Based on the criticisms for this current season, I think Disventure Camp could really benefit from having very toxic/explosive personalities on the season

However at the same time, I do worry that the DC fanbase(most specifically the ones on Twitter) would throw a massive hissy fit over these types of characters since the fanbase has already thrown tantrums over Aiden’s heel arc in this current season, Anastasia’s existence in DC4, Natalia’s existence in DC5, etc.

EDIT: Now that I’m thinking about it, this fandom wouldn’t even survive shows such as Survivor, Big Brother, Hell’s Kitchen, & The Challenge lmfaooooo

If Hell’s Kitchen ever did reunion episodes(similar to the ones from Survivor, The Challenge, Are You The One, etc), which season do you think would have the chaotic and insane reunion episodes????

Low-key any reunion episode from Seasons 10 & 16 would be absolutely batshit crazy to watch

u/JonJonExistsonReddit — 6 days ago

Looking back at certain scenes in Carnival of Chaos, this is might be among one of the most tragically beautiful cases of karma in Disventure Camp

Allow me to explain: So during the challenge that occurred in Natalia’s boot episode, Marissa(with the help of Anastasia) made a ploy to expose Spencer and his involvement with Richard’s vote out, with the goal of damaging his relationship with Logan(which was his only positive relationship at that point), which would be successful as Logan would pretty much hold a grudge against him for like one and a half episodes(even blaming him for Natalia’s blindside), however in a bit of poetic justice, just two episodes later, Isabel would make an insane move(with the help of Jade) in her forcing a tie between Anastasia and Marissa, essentially pitting them against each other for the tiebreaker challenge, with her idol. And the crazy part about it is that none of this would have happened had Logan not leaked the Isabel plan to Jade. And one season later, Anastasia would be blindsided by her tribe over a ridiculous rumor surrounding her relationship with Marissa, that would be instigated by Alec interrupting her conversation with Rosa, which resulted in Rosa falsely believing that Anastasia broke up with Marissa(in which I’ll give some bonus karma points to Anastasia since Anastasia was absolutely terrible towards Alec(which was justified) and was responsible for his elimination).

What are some instances of Survivor AU players getting voted out due to them being collateral damage????

What I mean by ‘collateral damage’ is that the players at first weren’t even considered as the initial/intended target but due to them unintentionally getting into the crosshairs, chaos, and unfortunate circumstances of the game, they ended up getting voted out as the result. And I think Fraser easily fits the bill here for obvious reasons.

And to be clear, this is not including players who made dumb moves and/or certain misplays that resulted in them getting voted out, this is only including players(who did nothing wrong) that ended up getting voted out due to unfortunate game circumstances.

I think Disventure Camp not having a final words segment was such a missed opportunity, especially since we could’ve gotten some hilarious ones from Yul(All-Stars) & Natalia(Carnival of Chaos)

The average experience of being a Disventure Camp fan

I mean some of the shit that Ive been seeing from the time that I got into Disventure Camp(which was around the time when All-Stars was premiering) to now seems like something that you’ll expect from a reality show from MTV or VH-1(I mean there was, no joke, a whole entire shitshow or drama situation happening on Twitter over a certain DC fan saying that ‘Dunia is overrated’😭😭😭😭)

For all DC fans who are also fans of Survivor & Australian Survivor, what are your thoughts on Survivor 50 & Australian Survivor: Redemption????

For Survivor 50: I do think it’s the best season of Survivor since David vs Goliath, however not by much, since it does have a lot of fun moments and the cast does shine a lot. However, unfortunately this is the season that, while has some high highs, suffers from really low lows such as terrible twists(Lose Your Vote Journeys, Blood Twist, MrBeast Coin, the Final 9 split tribal), a nightmare blunt rotation Final 5 & Final 3, and an underwhelming winner. And what really sucks is that had the producers not overproduced the hell out of season, this could’ve been a top 10 season of Survivor.

For Australian Survivor: It’s a really fun season of Survivor with an incredible cast, great gameplay, brutal backstabs, and actually a deserving winner(at least compared to Aubry). And what also really helps is the lack of non-elimination episodes since I view them as a complete waste of time & as fodder episodes. Overall, this the Survivor season that you get when you actually allow players to play, have the two-tribe format, and don’t have any twists that completely hijack the game

This is such a terrible season for the _____

Men.

It’s actually insane on how almost all of the boot order have consisted of men(the only women that have been eliminated so far are Aubrey, Anastasia, & Evie), so either ONC hates men in general or they don’t know how to write the male ONC characters properly so that way they have staying power in the game.

Considering what we know now, how’d you think Survivor 50 changes if Amanda Kimmel was on the main cast instead of Aubry Bracco??? And how well do you think Amanda would do on the season???

Honestly, with Amanda on the cast instead of Aubry, we won’t be getting the noticeable Aubry and Genevieve rivalry, we won’t be seeing people on Reddit and Twitter trashing Aubry almost every single day, we get to see Ozzy and Amanda reunite(lol), we get to see Cirie and Amanda reunite, we wouldn’t see Aubry dancing with Coach during the actual merge episode, and much more. And honestly, I hope we get to see Amanda back on our screens again sooner than later😔😔😔

Does anyone else remember the time that Tony kissed Woo immediately after Kass got voted out???🤣🤣🤣🤣

Im low-key surprised this doesn’t get brought up a lot especially with how beloved this season is

Imagine if these 8 men have to live with each other in a house for 24 hours as a challenge, how’d you think it’ll go????

Just in case if you guys don’t know the characters in the last two slides, they are Katuski Bakugo from My Hero Academia & Inosuke from Demon Slayer.

Anyways, I can imagine it being a complete Chernobyl fest with multiple fights, arguments, and screaming matches. Also, Joe would probably be either be completely miserable or would have an escape plan during some point in the challenge.

▲ 109 r/survivor

Considering how miserable he is on Survivor 50, just imagine how Joe would fair on MTV’s The Challenge🤣🤣🤣🤣

I honestly believe he wouldn’t even last a single day in The Challenge house, especially with him dealing with Johnny Bananas

- Both players(Aiden & Ozzy) got way too cocky for their good as they were foolishly bragging about their future gameplans to their other tribemates

- As a result of this poor gameplay, they would brutally blindsided in a unanimous vote by their own ally(with Evie betraying Aiden & Rizo betraying Ozzy)

- With the cherry the top, they would get very upset and emotional with their own vote outs

And funnily enough this isn’t even the first time that both the DC5 and Survivor 50 eliminations had parallels between them because during both premiere episodes from both shows, they had a player(which was Aubrey for DC5 & Jenna for 50) that got eliminated for overplaying their hand and playing too aggressively when they were overtly targeting a well-liked player on their respective tribe(which was Sam for DC5 & Cirie for Survivor 50), and funnily enough, they were proven to be right as both Sam and Cirie would prove to be very good strategic players during the future episodes of Disventure Camp and Survivor.
