playstyles should represent styles of play

playstyles should be for players of all levels of ability, but they should be unchangeable for that player like body type is. it’s called a playstyle, not a superpower, so shouldn’t only be for the best players. doesn’t matter if you’re in league 2 or champions league you’ll still have a style of play.

for instance, finesse+ should be for any player who typically goes for finesse shots, and should mean that player has a small boost for that shot type, to represent their real life playstyle. if a player for crawley town specialises in playing incisive passes, then they should get incisive+. this encourages you to use them in game as they play in real life. get rid of base playstyles though, they don’t make sense.

and making them locked to the player would help make players feel more unique (rather than the current generic mess). it would mean that they play like the player whether they are 70 rated or 99

would require actually balancing playstyles, and also would need ea to make a functional tactics system so different styles of player can actually be used, but could make the game a lot more fun.

You should be able to bind pre-set sensitivities to keys

I think it would be helpful if there was an option to bind specific sensitivities to the keyboard so you can change more seamlessly in game. Its a hassle having to navigate to the menu every time I want to change, and having it as a simple button press would be a lot easier.

theres already an option to bind a sensitivity randomiser, so i dont think it would be too hard to implement?

Could this be most embarrassing EAFC bug?

I’m guessing everyone here has experienced the moment when you try to play a simple ball forward and it mysteriously selects an offside team 240 meters away just cause they’re in remotely the same direction.

Well, I was wondering why this was the case. It made no sense to me to make it a deliberate feature as it only punishes poor AI positioning and nothing within the players control.

I thought, wouldn’t it actually make more sense to have the inverse feature? Where it automatically selects the onside player, giving the player the benefit of the doubt.

Then I realised this is probably exactly what they meant to do… I reckon they meant to make the pass select the onside player where possible, but programmed the variables for the onside and offside players the wrong way round. Such a simple mistake and yet it, embarrassingly, has been this way for years.
