Classic NES Series Super Mario Bros, is it meant to look like this ? (The Goombas)

As far as I can tell the cartridge shell is real, my second most recent post has photos of the cartridge itself. And the game plays completely normal, but the Goombas do not look at all like they should. But besides that everything is fine

Best Pokemon ruby for the first time! How bad is this team I used to beat the final 4 and champion?

First Pokemon game I ever played. Over 72 hours I spent. I can’t believe how much content this game had and still has left for a handheld console game from the early 2000s.

Swellow did 90% of the work until the master, then Torkoal solo’d the master (with a lot of potions)

My cartridge will not take a new battery. How much content will I miss out on?

I know the berries I won’t be able to grow, I’m not worried about that, I’m only worried about the tides. Are there any pokemon I won’t be able to find/catch due to tides being stuck? Also will it affect the story at all? I’m trying to catch all gen3 pokemon. (I got the game on eBay and after I found out the game is slightly damaged and will not take a new battery I got a refund but the guy told me I can keep it anyways, the game works fine besides that)

How can I make catching Groudon easier?

I’ve spent over 2 hours (at least 150 ultra balls) constantly trying to catch him but no luck. I get him down to low health then spam ultra balls until I am all out and reset. How can I increase the odds to catch it?

Need help progressing in the game. I’m completely stuck

I am trying to get my last badge. However the gym in Sootopolis city is locked. Also the dude behind the gym tells me to leave. I have tried looking up how to progress but with no luck. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Would night vision gear allow you to use a gameboy/ gameboy color in the dark?

I tried looking this up but couldn’t find any answers. I don’t know basically about night vision. I ask because those older gameboys don’t have a lit screen so they need an external light source so you can see them. But I wonder would a good set of night vision goggles allow you to use it in the dark?

Does re-stickering a game cartridge help or hurt resale?

I have a Pokemon Ruby cartridge that has NONE of the original sticker left, and I currently have no plans of selling it, but down the road if I do want to sell it, would it be easier to market it as a genuine game with no sticker or a genuine game with an aftermarket sticker?

I just bought a Pokémon Ruby cartridge, and it has a dry battery. Can someone please explain how the game still saves with a dry battery?

I know the time stuff won’t work but I thought a dry battery meant no saving on these old games. Also I haven’t played Pokémon since I was like 8 so can anyone please recommend whether or not I should get the battery replaced?
