Little Bear Bottoms Corn Maze
Does anyone know if the corn maze is open on Halloween night? Me and some fri were planning on going on Hallowee.
Starting a new film club. Email me if you're interested that way I know how many people to expect
My PC can’t play blu-Ray discs
I want to rip this blu-ray of mine but my PC can’t play it. What‘s a cheap (but good) drive I could get?
Megaplex question
What’s it like working at either of the Megaplex theaters we have in town? I’m interested in getting a job there. The questions I have are what’s the work environment like, do employees get breaks, and how long are shifts?
Workout routine question
Right now I go to the gym on Monday Wednesday, and Friday, doing a push/pull/legs split. I would like to go more times a week but that’s not possible right now. Luckily, my family is getting a treadmill and a dumbbell set. I want to use that to add another two days to my routine (adding an at home workout on both Tuesday and Thursday, and maybe Saturday, which would bring my total workout days to 6). What kind of split would you recommend for someone trying to build strength and muscle? I plan to have my three gym days be the harder ones.
Film clubs in Logan
Are there any film clubs in Logan that I could join? I’ll be 19 in a few weeks (not sure if that’s useful information or not) but not currently enrolled in any schools. I love movies and would love to just be able to get together with a group of people and watch and talk about movies.
Hike question
I need help finding the name of a hike here in Cache Valley. I did a really cool hike a few years ago going towards Providence, and it was right beside a river, with multiple ropes you had to go on in order to cross parts of the river. I wish I could give you more details, but that's all I can remember. While you're at it, are there any other beautiful hikes in the valley? I can only seem to remember the names of a few (like the wind caves), despite having hiked quite a few trails around here.
Male voice actor needed for short story recording
Hello guys. I wrote a short horror story, and I'm looking for an English-speaking male voice actor to narrate it. I plan to upload it to YouTube. The story is about 2 and a half pages (1500 words) on Google Docs and isn't very long. I expect the video to be less than 8 minutes. If you're interested, feel free to message me a sample of your work so I can see if you're the right fit. I can only pay 5 dollars (USD) after completion, but you will be credited in the video. If you're chosen, I'll send you the link to the script, as well as an advance of 1 dollar (so a total pay of 6 dollars). I'm sorry I can't pay more.
Things to do in Logan in the Summer
I‘m 18 and currently working at the Logan Aquatic Center. I love Summer and working at the pool is a really nice way to spend the summer. But I do want to know if there are some other fun things to do in the summer. I’ve lived here since 2011 and know about things like the car show and fair, and obvious activities like hiking and camping (which I do love). Free or cheap activities would be preferred.
Question for BTS and DC fans
There’s seven members of BTS, and seven members of the original Justice League (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter). So which BTS member would fit with which JL member? Thought this would be fun.
Edit: this subreddit is WAY more positive than most other subs. Good job guys!
[HELP] Newcomer into poetry in need of assistance
I’ve recently gotten interested in poetry, but not sure where to start. I requested a collection of Edgar Allan Poe’s works at my library because he’s one of the view poets I’m familiar with. I love dark poems but I’d like a variety of tones and genres. So I was wondering: is there like a greatest hits book for poetry? Something like a collection of the 100 greatest poems of all time (could be higher or lower than 100, but I needed an example). I’d love something that would get me caught up on some of the more popular poems. Also, not sure if this is even relevant, but what got me into poetry were two songs, Hotel California and Don’t Fear the Reaper. I’ve loved both songs for years but recently began digging deeper into their lyrics. It seemed a lot like poetry to me, the way they were written (like hiding deeper meanings and stories in catchy lyrics). Anyway, hope I don’t sound too much like an idiot babbling about something I don’t yet understand. Thanks in advance for any help y’all give me.
What are some good, standalone one-shots? A few good ones I’ve read already is the Mirage Raphael one-shot (Casey’s debut) and IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Micro-Series. It can be any continuity. Excited to hear y’all‘s answers!
How well do bubble mailers work for shipping comics? And how many comics would you put in each envelope?
