I want to be one of those annoying red-light converts, but I’m not there yet
I keep seeing people get genuinely excited about doing red light at home for their skin, and I want to understand what separates “this is part of my routine now” from “expensive thing I used for two weeks.” The part I’m skeptical about isn’t even the dramatic before/after stuff. It’s consistency. If I add something to my evening skincare routine, now I’m thinking about clean skin, timing, eye protection, sitting there long enough, and remembering to do it again tomorrow. That’s a lot more friction than putting on moisturizer and going to bed. I also feel like immediate post-session glow gets talked about way more than boring changes tracked over time. For people who stuck with at-home red light, what made you decide it was actually earning a place in your routine instead of just being a nice ten minutes under a light?
