Northwestern europe + Hungary results (& gedmatch)

Thought i’d post my results in full with gedmatch. I am mostly northwestern European (British isles, some French) with a bit of Hungarian. I think my Hungarian ancestry is partially german hence the lack of slavic.

I added some of the time periods with the 5 limit or 3 limit populations to compare.

Why is my best fitting region ‘Latin America’?

For my middle ages results on periodical breakdown, my closest genetic fit is when using ‘Latin america’. Can somebody help explain why that is? I’m from the UK so it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s also my best fitting region for ‘iron age’ and ‘late antiquity’.

Is the Amerindian real?

I added results from the other European regions to compare

South american hunter gatherer?

This is my results and the ancient admixture of random groups from central asia. Why does south american hunter gatherer appear in so many of them?

Is it a proxy for something else because I don’t see how central asians can be descendants of south american hunter gatherers.

Record Contradicts itself.

I was looking at the 1921 England Census for a person and noticed this:

Under ‘If born in the United
Kingdom, write the
name of the Country
and of the Town or
Parish.
(2) If born outside the
United Kingdom,
Write the name of
the Country, and of
the State, Province
or District, or
(3) If born at Sea, write
"At Sea." ‘ it says :
‘Jersey, Channel Islands’ which is a British Crown Dependency.

However, under ‘If not born in the
United Kingdom state
whether Visitor or
Resident in this country,
and
state also nationality
if born in a foreign
country, e.g.,
"British born,"
"Naturalised British
Subject," "French,"
"German," "Russian,"
etc.’ It says:
‘French born’

How does this make sense? Surely this completely contradicts the birth place? Could anybody help explain this?

Need help finding records

I’m trying to extend my family tree but have hit a brick wall with finding records for ancestors during the 1700s and 1800s.

Could anybody help find birth, marriage or death records of these 2 people:

•Giorgio Suich, born around 1790-1795 in Postira/Postire, Brač, Split-Dalmatia, presumably died there. Married Ellena Barozzi and had atleast 5 children. Death year unsure.

•Marco Suich, born around 1795 in Postira/Postire, Brač, Split Dalmatia, also presumably died there. Married Francesca Matulich and had atleast 4 children. Death year unsure.

Is there anywhere online you can find church more records? Familysearch.com has a lot of record but it’s quite limited for this area.
