Ignoring

When my new neighbor moved in —super friendly..
then all the favors started. Drive me here, can you pick me up, my car won’t start, will you buy me beer?
Of course i said yes. Because she was nice to me.

I have never asked for anything.

Now for no known reason to me she no longer speaks to me. doesn’t wave. Makes mean mug faces when I’m outside. Stopped asking me for favors.

Now when I hear her mowing and she right up against my fence and the noise vibrates right into my soul. Then the trimmer cutting into my fence. The sound sets me on edge.

I just want credit for not running out like a lunatic screaming “WTF are you doing to my fence”
leave my fence alone! Geez my poor fence.

I don’t want to go to war.

End of season: Looking rough.

Can’t wait for next spring when they will be larger and I can split them a bit. Anticipation!

First rose bush: 1st insect…identify?

My very first rose bush. I sprinkled perfect rose in the hole before I planted. I have Sevin powder and Bonide granules… should I use both?

Who is the culprit?

Overly Friendly:) then nada :/

Property lines.. when my neighbor started mowing my lawn. Then texts me saying I was going to mow your lawn for you but I know you would be upset.
I replied please do NOT mow my lawn.

Then I notice she has mowed 1 stripe over into my lawn which is weird because I have a fence line on the property line. It’s not hard to follow.

Next week she has mowed 2 stripes over into my lawn.

Last week 3 stripes over.. so almost 4 feet into my lawn. Very very short and scalped. I mow my lawn on high and choke out the weeds.

So a few days ago I went to her door… I don’t know why you are mowing over the property line.. would you please stop mowing my lawn. Follow the fence line. Please.

She replied “I didn’t notice and I wasn’t aware”…

Today she is mowing the exact property line as it should be. So that’s nice.

However angry mean nasty face. No hello. 👋🏻

I’m mowing my lawn. It’s all good.
Stares from the dark side. 🤷🏻‍♀️ oh well.

Finally!! Success!!

Year one and year three!! Best turnout yet!!
Raised these in pots on my patio and over wintered in a tub on the patio. Put them on my front porch for more sun year 2 and my neighbor walked across the street and stole them:/. Long story short police got them all back and this year that neighbor was evicted.
Now they’re all in the ground!! 😊

Quite the journey. I never had peonies before!!
