It sounds like a burglar alarm and it goes off constantly. Is it the old Hillsdale Inn? I don’t mean to be a Karen or anything but it’s after midnight and it’s blaring insanely loudly and it goes off all the time. Does anyone know anything about it? Anyone to contact to look into it?
Does anyone recognize this Kenmore Microwave? I want to get one, or something similar cause the door just seems like such a great idea.
So I just got in a Kentia and Pygmy Date Palm. the Pygmy is tiny maybe 5” and the Kentia is standing around 3-4 feet in the pot, probably 2 feet out, they’re both very young plants and I repotted them before doing my research. They’ve both been in their new pots for several weeks and get morning sun, but not full sun as they’re in a part of my yard shielded from the wind and with lattice blocking the sun, so I’d say they get dappled sunlight. They haven’t yellowed or looked to be too cold, we’ve averaged in the high 70s here during the day and the high 50s to low 60s at night. I know with young plants a milder fertilizer is good, but with them being so young, should I even bother? Are they still adapting to their new environment? Should I bring them in my garage where they’ll get indirect afternoon light, but not much considering it’s warmer? Are there any recommendations you have? I potted them in Black Gold Cactus soil mix with a little Peat Moss mixed in, not a ton, maybe a 1 inch layer mixed in with the 12-14 gallons of cactus soil mix I was told while looking up what to plant them in that the cactus soil mix can be a little TOO fast draining and the peat moss would help with that. Any advice is accepted, thank you.
So earlier today around the break room table we began one of those “what if” discussions, finally reaching “what if Alien was made today?” The cast suggestions had a wide range, but knowing that the casting of Alien 1979 was intentionally a bait and switch with extremely famous actors and actresses of the time dying first, including John Hurt, Harry Dean Stanton, Veronica Cartwright and Tom Skerritt, and a relatively unknown Sigourney Weaver as our final girl, who would you cast in a modern version of the movie?
