New to this, going insane trying to wallpaper

UPDATE: Thank you all so much for the advice - I finally did it! I used a glue stick (Pritt Stick) and a credit card to smooth it down. So much easier! :D

Finally got my hands on a nice wooden dollhouse - yay! Wanted to do one for years. Was told it is 1/12 and measured to confirm. Prepped and removed the old interior of the first room.

Then I searched around and found a free Victorian style 1/12 wallpaper on a dollhouse site. Printed it, cut it out, then realized it was too short for the walls. Okay, no biggie, can work with that. Decided to paint the upper wall and go for a picture rail effect. Sourced and ordered some wood for the picture rail.

Next I stuck the wallpaper in with modpodge. Took me ages, I was as careful as I could be. In the morning I realized it had horrible dark spots from where any glue had touched the printed side. Not too happy about that, so I ended up removing it all with a sponge and a scraper.

Feeling a bit daunted at this point but I printed and cut more wallpaper, this time on thicker better quality paper. Tried to pretreat it with modpodge to stop the dark stains, but it made the colours bleed. Damn.

Trying not to get annoyed at this point. Researched glues and ordered some spray mod podge. Hoped to use it to pretreat the wallpaper, allowing me to stick it down with regular mod podge, without any of the dark stains. I waited days for that to arrive, then applied it to the wallpaper. Waited a day for that to dry, then pressed the wallpaper as it was curling.

Went back and checked it a day later, it was still wrinkled. Tried heavier weights, left it a day, checked again. It's still bloody wrinkled. Unusable.

Honestly getting upset with it now, just wanted a chill Sunday where I could spend some time on it. I just want to wallpaper this room and I don't know how! Please can someone advise me before I lose my marbles? Any help would be much appreciated.

Need help going dark brown, without ending up black! Colour chart in next slide

I'm not sure if it shows well in pics, but my hair is quite mousey. I want to dye it as dark brown as possible without it reading black. Planning on using Wells Colour Touch as I want an easily available demi permanent, but I can't get my hands on a physical colour chart. Hoping someone with experience with these shades or better knowledge of hair levels can help advise me :)

I would love to paint one of these but I don't know how to paint over the cheap plastic they are made from. Would a base coat of spray paint with acrylic paint for the details work? Inspo image on the left and starting product on the right.

My hair is naturally mousey brown (like the first photo). I am toying with either adding a blonde layer, dyeing it all dark brown, or dyeing it dark brown with a blonde layer. No makeup in these mockups as I want it to suit me when I'm bare faced too.

I'm finding it hard to make a decision because it took me forever to grow my hair out to its natural colour after years of bleach and fashion colours. I don't have the energy for the constant upkeep of bright colours anymore, and I don't think they're flattering on my bare face as I've got older. I think the options I've presented would be less maintenance and better suited to me?

I've tried to love my natural colour but I just don't. Even after experimenting with all sorts of different haircuts, it just feels too plain and mousey and doesn't really fit with my fashion sense. I would describe my fashion as alternative baggy era Billie Eilish if that helps 😅 I always come back to this shag sort of haircut and I just wanna tweak it to make it feel more like me.

I am so indecisive and I would love to get everyone's advice on what suits me best. Any thoughts about the maintenance, best products or suggestions for different colour ideas all together also appreciated :)
