[F4A] Hero X Villain RP... With a Twist

NOTES:

  • - I am not looking to replace anyone
  • - I require my RP partners to be within 3-4 years of my age (19 turning 20) in a 1-on-1 setting
  • - The RP will be on Discord.
  • - Please read everything as there are some very important things that I want to see from you when you reach out

I love exploring more relationships than romance and prefer not to have it as a main plot. for this reason, I am looking for some hero x villain roleplays where the hero and villain are related.

My plots have to do with the following: (The character I'm hoping to use is a hero/hero in training)

  • - Hero child MC and villain parent YC
  • - Hero MC and villain sibling YC
  • - Hero MC and villain YC foster OR adoptive parent (Imagine being adopted by the person responsible for the death of your hero family...)
  • - Hero and ? (This is where you present me with another plot...)

A bit about me:

  • I consider myself to be quite literate, and love coming up with stories… But I require something to work with in order to form a proper response. I AM human, so my responses aren’t always super long, but I will do what I can
  • My timezone is GMT+2
  • I go by Secret online
  • I love to create stories and have been doing so my whole life—even before I could write.
  • I’m open to talking OOC.

Disclaimers:

  • Although I’m 19, I’m a student in high school because of my curriculum allowing me to go at my own pace. This means that studying, homework, and exams will often take priority over rping.
  • I have ADHD and am the self proclaimed Queen of Procrastination, meaning that I’m not always consistent with replies.
  • I have been prone to writers’ block before. You need to be patient with me.

RP examples:

My starters can be a little… short: (I will add more examples later on))

Starter:

(Character’s full name…)

The she-cat followed her former mentor (how weird that was for her to grasp…) to (Clan) camp. They had walked from the Moonpool in silence. (Character) was silent as she thought back to the previous night under the Moonpool. Her mind was far away from the forest...

All too soon, they reached (Clan) camp. She opened her maw and let the scent of camp drift onto her tongue. She glanced at (Former mentor), gave him a slow blink, and entered the camp.

All around the camp, her Clanmates moved around. They chatted; they ate; kits ran around, chasing each other...

Home.

The she-cat looked at (Former mentor) one last time for assurance before she took a deep breath. “We’re back!” she called out into the camp. She dug her claws into the dirt as everyone turned to look at her. Where were (brother), (sister), and (mom)?

She cleared her throat. “We have some… news to share.” (Why did she still find it so awkward to adress them all? They were her Clanmates!)

“I’m no longer a Medicine Cat apprentice—“

She broke off at the look that passed through her Clanmates. The murmurs… The exclaims...

She’d spoken wrong.

“I’m no longer a Medicine Cat apprentice,” she continued. “Becuase I’m no longer an apprentice.” Her tail waved from side to side as a smile appeared on her face once again. She lifted her head.

“My name is (Character’s full name)."

Response 1:

(Note: /“Text”\ is how I organise dialogue, using a line that the other character said.))
((I want to be a writer one day, so I tend to write as if I’m writing a book. This means my responses CAN get long. Here is something from March that I am extremely proud of:))

((Please don’t feel intimidated by this! In no way, shape, or form do I expect this long of a reply. I just want something that I can work with, and this large of a reply is rare from my side. It usually happens when I am very connected to a character and/or plot))

She could have sworn that (Mentor) had been keeping a close watch on her this moon, although she hadn’t been certain as to why. Why she sensed their gaze on her so often.

It had been a couple seasons - or, rather, years - since (Character) had been the 13 moon old (Character)kit, her paws touching the ground of the (Clan) camp for the first time. She could still remember the way that her Clanmates looked at her and her littermates.

She wanted to prove to them that she was as much of a (Clan) cat as they were—that she could fight, hunt, and learn just as well as they could.

Then, (Mentor) took her under their wing. She had an important role, yet she was uncertain about whether the cats she was looking after would trust her to take care of them.

She had learned so much.

Even at 37 moons, she still wasn’t certain if she knew everything. She didn’t know if she was as experienced as (Mentor) was, or if she ever would be.

The she-cat’s gaze was angled to the waterfall that cascaded down into the Moonpool. It was beautiful; always taking her breath away. Always there - an always present, never-ending flow that was a constant. It had existed since the beginning of time, and would until the end of it. She wondered how many cats had sat at the same spot as her. The rock she sat on had indents created by long-gone cats who traipsed and trodded over and over and over the rock over a millennia.

Cats who were forgotten by time. Cats who had faded from StarClan…

The thought sent a shiver up her spine.

She felt (Mentor)’s gaze move to her as it had so many times already over the last moon - no, over the past several moons. No. Over the past seasons of being their medicine cat apprentice, training under their watch.

/“(Character name,”/ The she-cat turned her gaze towards her mentor at the sound of her name. They spoke softly, as if afraid to disturb the magic of the night around them. /“Come here.”/

The she-cat stood up and walked over to her mentor. Something in the air was different. The animals, the insects… even the crickets were quiet.

As if they sensed the look of certainty on (mentor)’s face.

(Character) sat down in front of her mentor and looked up at them. “Yes, (Mentor)?” Her eyes were wide as she tilted her head. She laid her tail down on over her paws as they turned their gaze to the Moonpool, shifting their body, the medicine cat apprentice copying their lead.

/"I, (Mentor), medicine cat of (Clan), call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice.”/

Her eyes widened as her mouth gaped open. She stared at her mentor. She had heard similar words uttered by (leader) at naming ceremonies.

Was she… was she getting her full name? (Mentor) truly thought…

She felt as if the entirety of Silverpelt was looking at her as her mentor (*’Can I still call them that?’*) continued on: /“She has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her Clan for many moons. (Character),”/ — the she-cat sat tall, as if she truly believed that she was ready as (mentor) turned their gaze back to her’s. — /“do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?/

The words weighed on (Character)’s shoulders. This was huge - big. The responsibility of the Clan - no, Clans…

Was she truly ready for it? Yes. She was. She was ready. She lifted her head and looked up at her now former mentor as she murmured: “I do…”

/“Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your true name as a medicine cat,”/

She closed her eyes as a wind picked up over the Moonpool. It carried with it a bitter tang, but was soft on her pelt.

/“(Character), from this moment you will be known as (Character’s full name). StarClan honors your resilience and creativity, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of (Clan).”/

(Character)paw— No. (Character’s full name) — felt her former mentor press their nose to her head, but she kept her eyes closed as the name rang through her head and through her ears as her starry ancestors chanted it. Under the cover of starlight, the only ones to witness the milestone was her, (Former mentor), and the entirety of Silverpelt.

/"Congratulations, (Character’s full name).”/

(Character’s full name). She had gotten her full name. She felt a huge smile dawn on her lips as she opened her eyes. “Thank you,” she breathed.

The world seemed more alight with stars than it had been when she had first closed them. The Moonpool… It had never looked more beautiful. (Character’s full name) breathed in the stillness. She knew in her heart that she would never forget this moment.

This moment where the stars chanted her name.

She stayed in the stillness, in no hurry to leave the Moonpool. She knew that, in the morning when they returned to camp, she would be surrounded by Clanmates who would chant her name. Clanmates who, once weary of her, had grown used to her presence and accepted her place in the Clan.

After a few moments, (Character’s full name) looked up at (Former mentor). “Can we stay here a little longer?” she asked.

Example 2:

The she-cat sighed, standing up. Motioning with her tail, she began to lead the way out of camp. She couldn’t talk here. It was too risky. Her aunt… she had been getting irrational the past few moons, and if (aunt) heard what (my character) had to say to her brother? She couldn’t bear the thought of it.

Once they were out of the confines of the camp, she took a deep breath and let her gaze meet her brother’s. “I chose the path of a tunneller for a reason… I thought that that had to do with me and the moor. But, although that has helped I just…” the she-cat shook her head. “I don’t feel like I am of the moors. It’s not because of you, not because of Mom, not because of Dad, not because of (aunt), is not the fault of (brother 2)- although I didn't expect that he would join me as a tunneller - and is not becuase of our Clan mates.” ((Note: Used “- text -“ to break up the sentence)) She gazed out into the open, longingly. “I daydream a lot. There is a whole world out there, (brother 1), just waiting to be explored, past the moors. Endless possiblilities… Sometimes— No. Often. Often I feel like WindClan isn’t my place and that my place is out there, somewhere else in the world.” She looked at her brother, awaiting his response.

[F4A] 19f - Looking For RP Partners

((Note: I’m not replacing anyone.))

Before you read on, I would like to make something clear: As this is a one-on-one setting, I want the people who I will be roleplaying with to be close to my age. The max our age difference may be is 3-4 years for this reason.

Important Stuff: (I did not realise that I had to put these in, but I will anyway)

  • I will not under ANY circumstances RP smut.
  • If you are not contacting me because you are wanting to RP with me, please rather don’t contact me, as it is disappointing to see a new chat request, and it not being someone who wants to rp with me in a one-on-one setting.
  • Please read until the end! I have certain things I would like to see from you when you contact me or comment on the post. I put a lot of effort into this, and would appreciate the same decency from anyone willing to RP with me.

Here are some things about me:

  • I go by Secret online
  • I am 19 years old. (I’m turning 20 at the end of the year)
    • (No, this does not mean I be willing to write smut. Smh… Read my disclaimers, please.)
  • My favourite genres include: fantasy, medieval fantasy, DND, magic, mystery, superheroes X supervillains (I have some plot ideas for this one), supernatural things, etc.
  • I store my characters on ToyHouse. Please let me know if you’d like to see them ^^
  • I am most comfortable rping and writing female characters (I am working on this, though!) and don’t really have many male characters (as I can’t draw guys to save my life. I have an elf who I’m wanting to create and draw out, but can’t because he is a guy, and my skills for drawing guys are questionable 😅)
  • My time zone is GMT+2
  • I don’t swear. You will not see swearing in my writing for this reason. If you swear/cuss, that’s fine. I’m not policing you. However, I will be replacing it with something else when I read it in my mind.

Disclaimers regarding me:

  • don’t really write romance with my humanoid characters. I have been keeping far away from that genre in general since last year. For this reason, I’d prefer for it to not be the centre of a RP as I like to prove that RP can be great without it.
  • I don’t have one particular plot in mind, except for the hero X villain side of things. I love to create plots according to the characters chosen. If you have any ideas though, please let me know!

More things:

  • I am completely fine with OOC chatting
  • The RP will take place on Discord
  • My characters’ ages range greatly. Some are children, some are teens, some are adults. Not all are on ToyHouse, though.
  • If you want to know about fandoms I like, have characters in, and/or would be willing to create one in, please let me know!

My aim is to be a writer one day, so I try to roleplay as if I am writing a book. This means that my responses CAN get long.
((I will bring newer examples in soon. I’m just getting them prepped ^^))

Some examples of my writing:

My starters sometimes are a little short:

(My character) ran, legs pounding underneath her, hitting the ground with every stride she took. She needed to get far, far away. Needed to… Her breaths filled the night that was otherwise quiet. Her heart was beating loud — too loud for her liking. ((Note: I use “—“ to break up the sentence)) Against her better judgement, she stopped running and leant back against a tree. She gazed up through the canopy, trying to gauge the moon’s position in the sky. How long had she been running?

An example of a reply:
((Note: /“Text”\ is how I organise dialogue, using a line that the other character said.))

((DND rp)):
/“Let’s get you settled! I have an one pack for you here”\
(My character) takes it and begins to look through the contents as the clerk continues, nodding along to what is said. “A hostel or a campsite, I can do.” she murmurs. “Coach (vehicle used to get to the area) used up all I had, so I have nothing remaining for an apartment…”

Her ears prick under her hood. 3 GP? (My character) didn’t even have one on her! She didn’t dare to voice her concerns out loud as the clerk mentioned a notice board.

/“What skills are you proficient in?”\
(My character)’s head snaps up, her hood almost falling off. She fixes it, quickly. “Skills…” she narrows her eyes at the Clerk, but forces herself to take a deep breath. She had to trust - at least some people - in order to survive here. She begins to list them - some of them, at least, - trying to be as unsuspecting as possible. “I’d say I’m pretty good at Insight, Perception, Survival, Stealth, Arcana and Athletics…” She seemed to list them from what she is best at to what… could use some work.

Example 3:

It’s not because of you, not because of Mom, not because of Dad, not because of (aunt), is not the fault of (brother 2)- although I didn't expect that he would join me as a tunneller - and is not becuase of our Clan mates.” ((Note: Used “- text -“ to break up the sentence))

Often I feel like WindClan isn’t my place and that my place is out there, somewhere else in the world.” She looked at her brother, awaiting his response.

What I want to see from you when you contact me or comment on my post are the following:

• Roleplay/Writing example(s)
• A bit about you (Examples: Your age, your timezone, the genres you write, etc)
• A bit about your characters (You are allowed to send me links to them in DMs 👀)

  • I have been prone to writers’ block before. You need to be patient with me.

Example 3:

It’s not because of you, not because of Mom, not because of Dad, not because of (aunt), is not the fault of (brother 2)- although I didn't expect that he would join me as a tunneller - and is not becuase of our Clan mates.” ((Note: Used “- text -“ to break up the sentence))

She gazed out into the open, longingly.

What I want to see from you when you contact me or comment on my post are the following:

• Roleplay/Writing example(s)
• A bit about you (Examples: Your age, your timezone, the genres you write, etc)
• A bit about your characters (You are allowed to send me links to them in DMs 👀)

  • I don’t really write romance with my humanoid characters. I have been keeping far away from that genre in general since last year. For this reason, I’d prefer for it to not be the centre of a RP as I like to prove that RP can be great without it.

We have had this orchid for a few months now. I believe it was at the end of summer/beginning of autumn that this plant was given to my mom.

This plant is in the house, so it gets light from the light we have on the ceiling. I try to water it once a week (twice at most!) as, the last time I attempted to care for an orchid, I overwatered the poor thing, leading to its demise.

We are now in the beginnings of winter, and the plant is looking worse for wear. It’s flowers keep dropping off, its stem is beginning to grow brown at the top, and the leaves have begun to brown, too.

My family doesn’t have the best track history with plants (my mom was given a fridge magnet that reads “never trust a doctor who’s office plants are dead”), so we welcome any and all advice!
(We have some successes, but not what I’d call enough to erase our previous history…)

Are we able to save the Orchid? Please let me know.

Additionally, if anyone wants any additional photos, I’d be happy to take more and/or provide any additional needed information
