Why does IVC ancestry drop from West to East but stays high going North to South?
Looking at some G25/qpAdm data, IVC ancestry decreases as you move East across India. But when moving North to South, many Peninsular landowning castes (like Kammas, Reddys, Vellalars) still carry huge IVC proportions. Why didn't the North 2 South movement dilute this IVC baseline as much as the Eastern expansion did?
