Does anyone know where I can safely and inexpensively get rid of ivy? I’ve been slowly getting rid of it on my property and have a truckful which needs to go. Some of it is the usual long vines which I can bag up and keep under the house until they are good and dead but some is woodt branches as big around as my forearm.
I was shopping this morning and noticed that the stores have back to school supplies on display so I thought this was a good time to mention that pencil cases or pouches are also great for storing your cosmetic brushes. I generally keep mine in a cup on my vanity counter, but I bought a cheap pencil case at Dollar store last year to pack my brushes in when traveling. It kept them clean and undamaged throughout a 3 week trip.

Ignorant American here who has just stumbled on the soap opera that the monarchy appears to be. I have questions which I hope you will answer and trust that they are not meant to be mean hearted. First, what exactly is the work of the royal family? On another subreddit, people seem to be angry at Princess Catherine because she doesn’t work enough. What exactly would constitute work for her or other family members? Next, why would King Charles not hire a security detail for Harry and his family when he visits. I can understand that it isn’t the responsibility of the taxpayers to provide this, but the King must have plenty of money to do so. Thank you for your replies.

There is currently major police / ambulance / fire activity which has closed Chuckanut temporarily making it impossible to drive south. I was told they are rescuing someone from a car which went off the road three days ago and has just been discovered. No fatalies.
