Hi all!

I have an opportunity to play Glazunov's Concerto with an orchestra. I was wondering what others think of the different cadenzas available. As of now I am practicing with the original one. Some are really not fitting into the style in my opinion, I only want to play another version if its clearly an improvement, if I had a little more time I would even think of writing my own. So, what are you opinions? I welcome any possible suggestions as well, thank you in advance!

Hey, just going through a rough patch, just looking to see if there are any others in my situation (probably, its a pretty unforgiving scene). Im 30 and altough I keep practicing and think I have the skills I just cant seem to get where I want, not enough concerts not enough gigs and I just failed a grant application. It will probably get better but it would be nice to chat with some people who are in the same shoes.
