Which part of a game do you enjoy the most??

Many times, a game can have an average story but incredible gameplay, while another can have amazing writing but fairly basic mechanics. For me, at the end of the day, it's what the story matters the most.

Microsoft plans to bring XBOX 360 games to PC, handhelds, and its next generation XBOX hardware codenamed "Helix" from 2027

Xbox 360 games will run on the next-generation Project Helix console, Xbox-branded PCs and handheld devices. Publishers will need to opt their games into the program. Microsoft will handle engineering, certification and support. Publishers will retain control over licensing, pricing and whether each game appears on xbox gamepass.

The rollout is described as gradual, suggesting that only part of the Xbox 360 catalog will become available at first. The document does not identify which games or publishers have joined the program.

Microsoft is also planning a full launch of original Xbox games on PC in October 2026.

Minecraft system requirements raised for the first time in 17 years!!

After 17 years of release of Minecraft: Java Edition, Microsoft announced that its increasing both the minimum spec and recommended spec for the first time.

This could negatively affect players on older hardware that barely hits the minimum requirements, who would have no choice but to upgrade their PCs at a time when NAND and RAM prices are at all time high!!

This change has been expected, as Mojang previously announced its shift from OpenGL to Vulkan, and Vulkan support has finally been made available in-game as an experimental feature.

GTA: Multiverse with real-time portals created by ambitious modder — San Andreas, Vice City and GTA III all run simultaneously, inter game interactions!!

GTA has a rich history when it comes to pc modding, different type of mods that would change the whole game but, have you ever seen a mod which combines 3 different GTA games interconnected in real time??

If no, modder "Dryxio" has just done that. A mod which connects GTA San andreas, vice city and III into one multiversal game in which you could travel to another one just like walking into a portal in a singular window!!
NOTE: - Mod publicly not available yet!

What's a game you expected to hate but ended up loving after playing it??

For me it's "The Invincible", when I first played it, I thought it's just a walking simulator but, after playing for a few hours and advancing the story made me happy about my choice, a really different story and game, but unfortunately my PC died (RIP GTX 1660 super and monitor), what about you??

Which games are you not letting go off which is older than 5 years and why??

For me, its Forza Horizon 4, mainly because my laptop can't run FH6 and I hate FH5(sorry Mexicans no hate but I find the map really dull). There also many other games like sekiro, minecraft etc.

Chinese court ruling allows heirs to inherit accounts of deceased gamers

While most of the Western world has been grappling with publishers and big tech companies about digital ownership, a Redditor who claims to be married to a Chinese lawyer and certified Chinese-English translator said that multiple Chinese families have successfully sued “for the right to inherit their deceased relatives’ game accounts.” u/Slawrfp shared summaries of three rulings favoring a gamer’s estate with regards to digital ownership on a subreddit. These cases go beyond game ownership, too, as they also tackled digital assets, in-game purchases, Bitcoin, and even social media accounts.

The arrival of "Red line of death" in valve's steam machine!!!

User u/me_hill posted on r/steammachine, saying that they played No Man's Sky for just about 5 minutes and then updated the machine before it bricked itself. The Steam website says that their particular issue, which is marked by the right half of the LED bar turning into a breathing red light paired with a solid red light on the indicator LED, indicates GPU failure, a possibly fatal issue harkening back to the Xbox 360's Red Ring of Death.

EU rules against Stop Killing Games

The EU Commission has finally made its decision on the Stop Killing Games campaign, and has elected not to recommend new legislation preventing publishers from revoking access to online-only games. It's a notable blow to Stop Killing Games, but the movement's founder insists there's reason to hope for new laws regardless of this outcome.

AMD FSR 4.1 now comes to RX 7000 GPUs

AMD has now confirmed that FSR Upscaling 4.1 is available for Radeon RX 7000 series graphics cards. This expands AMD’s latest machine learning based upscaler beyond the Radeon RX 9000 series.

The announcement also confirms that RDNA 3 APUs are still on AMD’s roadmap. AMD says it is developing “lightweight machine learning models” for APU players, which suggests that integrated graphics will need a separate path rather than the same model used by discrete Radeon RX 7000 cards.

What is the people's opinion on STRAY?

I have played it 2-3 times. Whenever I start the session, I start it with a smile on my face, but deep in my heart, I already know how the ending goes and after the last mission, it always saddens me, that a cat could form a connection with a robot.

Have people here played this game, what's your opinion on its story?
