Am visiting Nagoya in a few months, was an exchange student there in the mid 00s and have planned my trip so I'm in town for my birthday, spending it with some old friends.

Does anyone have any recommendations for wine/cocktail bars with good vibes for my friends and I to have a nice birthday drink in? Will be mostly in Sakae/Osu.

Looking forward to being back for a few days - Nagoya has a very special place in my heart.

I use Adobe for HR forms, getting approvals etc. Works fine.

I'm trying to use it in a new process, where people from different departments sign when they have taken an action for a new starter - so for example, when IT order their laptop, they sign.

Feedback in this trial process is that you can't exit out of the document without signing all your elements. So IT have ordered the laptop, but not created the Microsoft account.

Does anyone know how I can get around this please? Perhaps it's just not made for this kind of thing?

Hello! I'm new to the Fairphone fam having used second hand iPhones previously. The thought of moving from iOS to android has put me off all this time but I finally took the plunge. I have a Fairphone 6.

Most of it was a faff but I could work it out except a couple of things:

My phone will not talk to my car. It has carplay and I can see Auto is downloaded but they will not connect to each other even with a cable. Is there any advice out there please?

Similarly, my phone will not talk to my Sonos speaker. I have the app and my alarm clock worked via the app this morning which is great, but I can't play music or podcasts out of it... So it's an expensive alarm clock at the moment.

I used to have the option to Bluetooth my audio through Sonos but it just isn't communicating.

We know that overall it’s an employer-driven market right now and there are far more applicants per role than before.

I’ve started to see hiring managers be much more fussy - for example we had four interviews for a relatively low level role, two of whom were great. But the manager said he wanted to see who else is out there and get better.

This is frustrating - there are good people not being considered for jobs they could do, I think because managers are thinking “it’s an employer’s market I can demand more”.

1. Is this something other people are seeing too?
2. Does anyone have any advice in getting managers to better consider candidates and not drag things on?
