How is it being an intern at PwC?

I’m an incoming intern for PwC Philippines this month and just wanted to ask for those who have interned/worked there before what your experience is. I personally think the compensation is fair + their reputation as a Big 4.

Thank you in advance for all your insights!

Swoopa vs Flipify? What do other flippers use to monitor listings?

Been using Swoopa for 8 months or so and staring at another $100+ charge. I’m having a hard time justifying it when I sit down and look at my margins. fwiw I’m doing this semi-seriously. I won’t say I’m a pro and it’s not quite full-time, but it’s more than a hobby if you know what I mean. Maybe 15-25 flips per month at this point depending on what’s moving.

To be clear, Swoopa works fine. I’ve made money with it but I’m starting to seriously wonder if it’s worth the cost. The other thing that’s starting to get to me is the clunky ass mobile UI. I keep having to wait until I’m at my laptop to do things I should be able to do from my phone quickly. Normally I get so much done on my phone with my laptop sitting 10 feet away lol. The other day I was out sourcing and had to wait until I got home to do something that IMO should’ve taken 30 seconds from my phone. That’s not great if the whole point of the thing is speed.

I am seriously considering switching to Flipify but I’m hesitant because I’ve been burned by tools in the past. My one non-negotiable is notification speed. I’ve done fairly well despite the costs and frustrations with Swoopa so I’m afraid of missing deals because alerts are slow. I don’t care how clean the dashboard is if the speed isn’t there.

How do you guys build connection and communicate?

I’m genuinely baffled while watching these AFAM/Pinay love scams going around how they occur because the language barrier between those people is just downright unintelligible; how do you get scammed and manipulated by somebody who can’t even sit down and have a straight conversation with you?

Does this mean if hindi ko po siya ma-retake this summer, I only have the option to retake it during 4th year second sem? Please help po i don’t want to have back subjs anymore 🙏

OJT Concerns and Questions

Hello po! Incoming 4th year student and am undertaking a mandatory internship this summer. I have a few concerns lang po since I’ve already accepted an offer and inaasikaso ko na ang documents:

  1. We were provided an Endorsement Letter template, do we need it to be signed by the OJT adviser and what’s the process in requesting their signature?
  2. The company requested an updated student ID and COR from this second semester, but I wasn’t able to download the digital COR this second semester as well as my student ID which has not been revalidated yet (the sticker I have on is for 2024-2025); can I ask for it to be revalidated via the Admissions office?

Apologies for the complex questions, our summer practicum hasn’t started yet so I have minimal guidance on what to do in terms of these concerns. Thank you for anyone willing to help :)

Best place to get a Toyota in Madison or Jackson County?

My wife and I are finally replacing our older SUV and have been looking at Toyotas because we want something reliable long term (our Ford barely made it 5 years). We’ve mostly been looking at RAV4s and 4Runners, but honestly the dealership experience so far has been exhausting.

Either the inventory online isn’t actually available when we get there, or the sales process immediately feels pushy.

For people around Huntsville, Madison, Jackson County - where’s the best place to buy a Toyota without dealing with games? Just looking for a place that will have the car there when I arrive for a price that’s at least close to what it says online. I’m actually in Jackson, but willing to drive to Madison County.

▲ 17 r/CRM

How can I automatically sync 2 years of calendar data to CRM? Using monday but the team hasn’t kept up with it.

Been scouring this sub for a while now, and not finding anything, so figured I’d post. I recently joined a company in a sales lead type of role, and the previous person in this position clearly didn’t do their job and I’m stuck trying to clean up their mess.

I know sales, not tech, so trying to figure out syncing old data to our CRM (Monday) isn’t
the easiest. I’m trying to understand the existing organization structure for client contacts but most, if not all, historical data isn’t logged properly in the CRM. Our reps use calendar and email threads but very little of that is actually in the system for some
reason. I’d love to see meeting notes, call logs, and all the essential client info actually IN the system without asking the team to backfill everything. Is that possible with our current set up? What we have is nearly useless at the moment since a lot of people don’t keep up with it so we may be switching if there are other options that can make this easier.
