The specific line I’m talking out is when splinter points out how Leo has talents in healing. And it would be interesting to see how this could have been addressed more in the show.

At the end after they jump out of dreggs ship Leo can be seen holding onto karai and not putting weight on his leg that shredder in the season two finale in one shot. With the amount of times in the show that he breaks a bone, I wouldn’t be surprised if those spots are more sensitive.
