Hi all!! I’m looking for a fantasy book series or standalone where dwarves are more focused on as characters, serving as either a protagonist or larger side characters. I know of The Dwarves series by Markus Heitz, and obviously Lord of the Rings, but do you all have any other recs? Thanks a lot in advance!

Very proud to own these gorgeous books! It took me about 15 years to acquire all of them, but here we are. Any others I should get? I’m trying to keep it Middle Earth focused, but I still want to get the 3 volume set of the complete poems of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Just thought I would share my signatures that I received in my Folio Society Hardback of The Hobbit. I was in Film School in Hollywood in 2014, and noticed on a Monday afternoon the setup of a movie premiere. Given that I’ve been the biggest LotR / Tolkien fan since I was 6, I rushed home to grab my book. A friend of a friend had a great spot right at the fence in front of the premiere, so I was lucky and had front-row position during the Battle of the Five Armies premiere. I took pictures with some of the stars of the films and got their signatures, and it was (and still is) one of the best days of my life. I was so excited that I had to write the actors’ character names next to the signatures, a choice I later regretted…To make the night even more amazing, I was given tickets to see the movie that night for a fan screening! 12 years later, I still look at this book and think back to that incredible night.
