Finally have my "finished" apartment setup, and using a lot of Fosi components for it!
Preamp - Fosi ZP3
DAC - Fosi ZD3
Amp - Fosi ZA3
Headphone Amp - ZH3
CD Player - Fosi Merak
Additional items:
Turntable - Audio Technica LP-70x
Streamer - WiiM Pro
Speakers - Elac Debut3.0 DB6.3
Overall I'm really happy with this setup. The ZP3 is a great preamp for the price, doing everything I need out of it. The ZA3 has had no problem driving the speakers in the slightest. Glad I went this route for my first full setup!
Like a lot of people, once streaming became so widely available that was my main way of consuming music.
Over the last year and a half I started getting back into physical media for music, starting with vinyl. But as I was putting together the full setup in the spare bedroom, I just had to add a CD player to the mix!
It's been close to 6 years since I think I've last played my music through a CD, so it's really nice to have the option to do so again. And with some albums for vinyl either being non-existent or super expensive, I can always add to the CD collection.
CD Player - Fosi Merak CD player
Preamp - Fosi ZP3 (CD player connected via RCA)
Amp - Fosi ZA3
Speakers - Elac Debut 3.0 DB6.3
So my listening room is finally "finished" at this point. The AT-LP70x is still probably the weak link in the chain at this point, but I'm gonna stick with it for a while until I decide what I want to upgrade to.
The relevant info that matters here:
Turntable - AT-LP70x
Phono Stage - Fosi Audio Box X5
Preamp - Fosi ZP3
Amp - Fosi ZA3
Speakers - ELAC Debut 3.0 db6.3
Headphone Amp - Fosi ZH3
Headphones - Sennheiser HD599
The primary use case here is speakers, the headphones are just there when I feel the need for some late night listening (apartment complex, gotta keep the noise down)
Saturday is for Swedish Melodic Metal from Soilwork
Finally got my spare room mostly set up as a listening space.
AT LP-70x is the current turntable. It's been serving me well for the last year and a half, but it will probably get upgraded sometime in the next year.

Hey everyone! Been lurking in here for about a year and a half as I started to get more serious about my music listening, and I finally have a separate space for enjoying my music now!

I have the Fosi Audio Box X5 Phono Preamp and the Merak CD Player set to arrive later this week to round out the setup.

Got all of this finally configured yesterday and loving it so far. Turning the bass control up ever so slightly on the ZP3 has really helped get a nice low end out of the speakers without being too much for an apartment (Subwoofer out of the question)

My living room now has a WiiM Amp Ultra along with the Klipsch RP 600M-II that I've been using for almost a year.

How long did it take everyone to get to a setup that they were happy with? Obviously the urge to upgrade and tinker will always be there, but man it's great to really just sit back and enjoy the music!
