Where to buy Pinguicula in Europe?

I have seen that the american market has GORGEUS Pings. Such is the case with Rainbow carnivores, California Carnivores among many others.

I was wondering if any of you know where can I buy pings here in Europe. I feel here the diversity is not that big and only few nurseries have a good range of pings for sale.

Happy growing and thanks for all your help! :)

Pd: here you have a P. Grandiflora I found im the wild!

Sarracenia growing advise

I have a recurrent question regarding trimming down Sarrscenia traps. Sometimes I see traps that are fine im shape but they just seem to fall of and not being able to stand up for themselves. Is it worth cutting them down so the plant directs energy on generating new helathier traps?

To give you an insight I'll give context. I lived in a mediterranean climate, in which these plants grew, although I could not manage to give them as much direct sunlight, as I lived in a shadier place. They recieved morning light for 3-4 hours. That's why I think you will see many philloid or philloid-like traps.

I recently moved to a mountainous climate (Pyrenees) and I woul love them to thrive.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Poorhammer advise

I have been a huge fan of Warhammer since a little kid. I spent hours in the old web reading lore from minis descriptions. I was never able to afford them. Nowadays it has gotten even worse. I still remember when a box of 10 fantasy orc boyz costed 21€, Crom the Conqueror was 13,50€ and Grimgor was still around for 16,50€.

My question is: how can I get started on collecting minis without spending my entire salary? I would love to start my own Waaagh!!!

Thanks to you all! :)

Growlight recommendations

Sunlight is the best option for growing carnivorous plants. Unfortunately, I'll soon be moving to a place that doesn't get much sunlight, so I'm looking for grow lights to grow my plants indoors. I'll be living in a mountainous urban area, so heat shouldn't be a concern.

I was wondering if you could recommend any grow lights that are available in Europe, preferably through Amazon.

I'd also appreciate any other recommendations you may have, such as advice on ventilation, fungal prevention, or anything else I should keep in mind.

Thanks for your help! :)

Darlingtonia

Help my Cephalotus

I got this Cephalotus a couple of months back.

I had it next to another cehpalotus which began to decay, it showed the exact same appiriance as this one before dying.

I had hopes on this, as it began to flower and showed big traps.

A couple days back began to look like this.

I always watered it from the bottom using the tray method. I saw that some people watered their cehpalotus from the top. I did it once or twice always allowing the pot to rinse excess water. That's the only thing that comes to my mind that can explain whats happening.

Can anyone help me out and see if I still can save my Cephalotus?
